I just moved from Sarasota back to Michigan. I was in Sarasota for a year. We lived 5 minutes from the mall off of Honore. Just south of university Pkwy like a quarter mile. It's a nice shopping area all around there. Lots of restaurants and stores all around that area. We lived in such a good location for restaurants, stores, and quick access to 75. Pretty area. I love how they light up that whole area for the holiday season.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS YES, Sarasota is probably the nicest city on that coast. It is 3° here in Michigan. ❄️ I liked living in Sarasota, but I missed my friends and family. And actually, I realized that I actually missed the seasons in Michigan. Have you been downtown Sarasota yet?
Looks a lot like the Millennium Mall in Orlando. Very luxurious looking. What I miss in malls today are the arcades and book stores. They usually were next to the movie theater. It was the places for me but you have to go back to the 1980s.
The Mall at UTC is like the Mall at Millenia in Orlando's twin sister, they look almost identical, the biggest difference is the Mall at UTC doesn't have a food court.Millenia is upscale but is not in a great area so more trashy people than this mall.Try Hoka sneakers, some of their models have the most cushioning and overall some of the most comfortable shoes you can buy
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS Try a Hoka Clifton or Bondi, but theres other good models. The mall at UTC and International Plaza and bay street are probably the two best malls in the Tampa area, theres also a good outlet mall in the northern suburbs.I think on a cold or rainy day people like traditional malls like UTC and International plaza but I think people prefer outlet malls or outdoor shopping,I think in SW Fla theres one called Coconut point or something that's pretty nice
Not only that did you see the prices 😮 3X what they should be. I picked up a pair of shoes $2400! Sales person making a weed order typa ordeal 😅 no thanks!
International Plaza and Bay Street is the Tampa Metro (and the west coast of Florida's) number one mall. It is the only mall in the Tampa area that carries stores like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Burberry. Two of its three anchors are Nordstrom and Neiman Marus. This mall however is the second-best in the Tampa Bay area. It's also the third newest mall in the continental United States. It opened in 2014. While it doesn't have many luxury stores, it IS an upscale mall. You passed several premier-type stores like Brooks Brothers, Free People, Johnston & Murphy, Crate & Barrel, Pottery Barn, and Williams-Sonoma. There are two somewhat luxury boutiques in this mall though: Lilly Pulitzer and Robert Graham. Of course, there's also a Saks Fifth Avenue anchoring here too as you saw, which is one of the two most high-end department store chains in the nation. (The other being Neiman Marcus). This is the only Saks in the Tampa area and one of only two in the state outside of South Florida.
Katy, when you come out of Saks & into the mall, there's a store directly to the right call Flopeds. They're originally from Dubai. It's a flipflop store where they CUSTOMIZE your flipflops that also designed to work with your body temperature. I had uncomfortable shoes & ended up buying a pair. You can change the cutest clips and they're not flat. The purse that matched are only $40! I walked the mall with the flipflops & purse. They saved my life that day. Check them out if you get a chance. Really cool for Florida weather & walking. #FlipFlopsRule! Jose, they have men's customizable as well, so you guys can get matching ones. This store chain is unique to SW FL. They aren't in Miami yet. The owners are German and are awesome people.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS only reason I mention anything sir is it on from Tampa and I know University of malls in Tampa and it's been trashed for years honestly so excuse me my apologies if it's one of Sarasota I'm currently residing here in Naples so
@@ChatGPT1111 Technically this mall is named "The Mall at University Town Center or "The Mall at UTC" for short." The one in Tampa is actually named "University Mall."

Saks is considered a high end store. They carry a lot of the labels you mentioned earlier.

You can find high end stores at International Plaza near the airport.

This reminds me of the glory days. I have driven by this on 75 going to hard rock so many times. I am gonna have to stop and check it out.
Try international plaza
Christmas Cafe is also located there as well!
Southern Life what stuff were you browsing through when you are at this mall
Busy mall
Jose: Santayana Jewelers in Miami is beyond reputable. They will never do you dirty and they can create anything.
I was there last week. I ate at a Celtic pub close by & it was GREAT! Very authentic BTW. Cheers from Miami.
When did you get back into town??
Like a few days. Still exhausted
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS I bet. That was a heck of a trip. Did you keep track of the miles driven approximately?
How many shoes stores for tee age boys
You should go to the gardens mall in, Palm Beach gardens
The mall at Siesta Key Crossing was just purchased and will undergo renovation soon as it needs some updating. That is be Bee Ridge and 41.
I think they should knock that mall down and put in a shopping center mixed with some apartments or condos or something.
Pretty sure there is Rolex place there. I saw it the other day.
Ok I see you passed the Rolex place.
Went to the Kick r Us store there and never seen display shoes wrapped in plastic. Odd for a well to do area.
