Thankyou Colleen, for sharing just what I needed to know, a top I’ve not worn in ages, But I will do what you’ve just shown and make it work, Very clear and easy to folllow, Please Make More video’s, I’ve liked and Subbed xx❤️
i love your video , how would i do a lace that is 2 and a quarter wide onto a waist band on a dress burda 6205. the band will be 4inches with seam allowence.
Thank you for your brilliant videos. They are well made from the technical as well as from the content sides. Especially this video about inserting lace is very helpful, as I want to do just that. I wish you all the best from sunny Berlin :-)
Colleen is this the technique you would use for attaching a wide lace trim? For example on the neckline of a camisole? I’m trying to find a technique where the galloon does not lay on top of the body fabric, but has a seam allowance as if it was a solid trim. And the other edge of the lace is raw.
I would not recommend this technique, I think my tutorial for sewing edge trim may be more useful. Here is the link - ua-cam.com/video/sTzu9qhgRRc/v-deo.html. Let me know if you find it useful.
HI, my dress is already made but it's really plane and simple, so I want to add a bit of lace on top of it only on the top of the dress (the blouse) can I glue it, without cutting off the dress or "unsewn" it? tks
I'd like to insert lace to my jeans, but my son needs to be on the computer for his online classes. There doesn't seem to have a share on this video so I can play it on my cell while I'm doing my crafts on the table in the other room.

Hi,can you have a tutorial of making long sleeve placket pis?
What sewing machine settings did you use? I’m a beginner :)
It will depend on your fabric and lace, just keep the setting on small stitch and then test and adjust accordingly Marisol.

You can pin on one or both sides.
What happens if your needle is getting caught with the lace?
