    This video (and the Haynes manual) is no good for an '07 through '09 as the shock is secured by a 19 mm nut in a vertical plane on the top of the shock rod. If you are unable to remove the 19mm nut and you have an '07 though '09 remove the fender liners (pretty easy). Then cut away the plastic covering the polished rod on the old shock and clamp the rod as tightly as possible with a large set of locking pliers (two sets would be even better). Then remove the nut using a good impact wrench with a u-joint and 19 mm socket.
