I have the same unit now for 5 years and it’s been flawless,I use silicon spray on the inside to help it out.Its built as heavy as the big name units.I have moved a load of ice and snow and have never even broke a pin.
The "plastic" I am fairly sure (I just got a smaller version of this) is actually Teflon. It should last a long time! Agree on the instructions/photos. I almost scanned them in to then lighten them a bit. I think I have to do the hitches first, to get it off the bottom of the shipping frame, to then add the skid/feet. The instructions have those first, but really, you have to have this off the ground to do it. I suppose one could lift with "forks", but that seems like it could damage it more than just doing the three point first, get the feet on.
We had no snow the last 2 winters. Used it once this winter on about 5 inches. It works just fine. Only problem is with gravel driveway you have to lower the feet all the way to prevent shooting gravels. That leaves 2-3 inches untouched on the ground. I may have to run a scraper blade backwards over the driveway after to turn up a few gravel so it will melt.
Nice review. I just ordered the same 80”. Do you happen to know where the shear bolt is that protects the gear box? I suspect it is the one where the shaft bolts to the chain near the bearing you showed.

Thanks for the unboxing review. I'd love to hear how is working out for you if you can get around to making a follow up review.

I really hope it works and lasts for you.
What about the gear box. I can’t get the Allen but on top out to check
Hey man, how would i know if this will fit my tractor? Sure i have a category 1 3-point on my TYM394HC but what about the pto shaft length?
You need 30 up or better. Pto shaft can be cut to length.
Not even quick hitch compatible.
wow ,I m glad I didnt go for this one. I m looking at a land pride.
frank nabywaniec Land Prides are built the same just a few different options but you will pay more than double for the nice color and stickers
How is this comment justified lol
