Would be nice if they had a series or 2 where cautions didn't count. The lower Irating races would always go to the maximum time limits. Cautions in C class is kind of an interesting thing to exist. A lot of folks in C class are effectively just getting out of rookies / D class and still figuring out how to drive in traffic. But now every time someone spins out, there's a caution so everyone has to bunch up, which is just going to cause another caution. Although cautions to mitigate a problem that exists in the Arca series, where people don't want to stop or slow down for wrecks since they will lose all the track position, especially with Daytona where you lose the pack too... I think really they should just shorten the number of laps that are being run under a caution before going green again. Not really a need to do 4-5+ laps every time there is a caution in a 45 lap race where most people are not going to pit for tires. 10% of the race gone every time.
Have done 3 next gen races here this week... all 3 races combined to have 22 cautions. Have gotten robbed of a win in every single one of those just to add to the frustration. Literally got black flagged after the race was over in the one that I won and got my win taken away... And yeah I agree iRacing definitely needs to add time limits into some series.
omg. i couldnt stop watching that 8 car. just plow through and ride the wall. maybe it was netcode but sure looked like he would have dq out. instead he gets 6th.
A 0x should stay a 0x, but it would be cool if they could make 4 0x's into a 2x, like stack them some how. It would still allow for close quarters contact, but also deter from the constant wall riding.
I'll be doing the Class C Open sometime this week. I ran the Next Gen car here in a league race Sunday night. It was...something haha, but I'm also not the greatest dirt driver.
Last years the model allowed for full throttle across the top, just had to whip the car into the corner. This new model is much better but I still treat this like a neat gimmick and not an actual nascar race.
Not really sure how realistic the top line racing is even with the progressive banking... I still think we'll see mostly bottom line racing this weekend.
Not saying this is correct but; VRS has sets for Bristol (Dirt) for: A Open and Fixed and C Fixed C Open is on Bristol (Dirt 2021) iRacing using both versions?
What did you run steering ratio and offset.I can't accelerate on straight, right in the wall every time...Fixed setup thx for saying it's not just me...
Ran a community nextgen race here last night...it was.....an experience

Put the right rear in the cushion and hammer it dirt speed secret of the day

It sucks that wall riding is so broken and fast and you get no incident points from it either.

What a mess of a race for about 3/4s of it. You almost made it through unscathed lol.
I hate the dirt Bristol for Cup cars and the trucks. Give me a pavement option for this week.
Kentucky in Xfinity

iRacing just straight up doesn't give a shit anymore lmfao

I still have mix feelings if nascar belong on dirt. Sure it use to run on dirt but NASCAR’s are a paved car not not a dirt car 🤷♂️

Who knows, they do some stupid things
I love ripping the top on this track with these cars. But can't do that in the race cuz people throw it in really deep in door slam you.
Yeah, I'm surprised I never got slammed into the wall by the people who were passing me

Whatever default is I'm pretty sure
@@kneebon5 ty sir wanna figure this track out before my league runs it next Tuesday thanks again for All your videos been great help to me
I race in the street stock c class and there are so many cautions. IDK what could be done to make anything better.
does the charlotte roval count for road?
Yes
iRacing does a lot of things right, sadly this race showed they still have a very long ways to go in some aspects.
does this race affect ur oval safety rating
Dirt
Looks like I’ll be taking a week off. 😂
