I don't know why your art moves me so much. But it does. Every time.
Thank you Barbara
Such a peaceful painting.
Usually I do freehand things, so this is a treat to watch you doing the same. Thanks for showing us your art journey 🥰
Glad you enjoyed Thanks Maggie
Really amazing
Your background looks more impressionistic than usual. It really allows the moose to be the true star. Beautiful art. Thanks!!
Thank you I appreciate that
one amazing artist , one amazing teacher, little to add to that .
you're too kind!
Beautiful painting Chuck!!!
Magnificent!! I love it!
Really appreciate seeing your techniques in the alla prima. Watching the painting evolve stroke by stroke is fascinating and very educational. Thanks Chuck!
For anyone curious, the song in the first part of the video is Ambient Sun by Cerulean Skies. Great song.

Hello 😊For how many years you are painting such amazing masterpiece?
Please make full tutorial of rainforest with acrylic paint
I feel that your work is very inspiring and captures the essence of what you want to convey. However, I do notice some areas where your technique could be improved. I completely understand the feeling of having your artistic spirit flow through your work, even though the craftsmanship isn't quite there yet. It's a necessary stage in becoming a great painter, and I appreciate that you continue to share your work with us. Keep it up! (And for the record I am definitely very far from painting at your level)
I knowingly take steps backwards in order to learn and I feel I've been doing a lot of that in the past few years. I'm not looking to better my technique, but rather my understanding of the subject matter I paint and I sacrifice my technique for that. Thanks I appreciate the kind feedback and support
Damn it. He's probably better than me at F-ing too. Damn it.
What's is it like painting on canvas
To be honest, I am a bit confused by this painting. There is very bright light shining from behind the trees (which has amazing colors and I love it), so there has to be sun over there. But then there is no shadow from the moose itself, as well as from the closest tree. But on this painting, instead, I cant understand the light at all. I would at least add a bright contour coming along moose's back, legs and horns, and I also would make the tree much darker, having shaded part almost as dark as the moose itself. I would also be adding less white and more yellow (Brown for shadows) in the grass, because distant background is using brown and yellow sunset colors, and it must apply to all parts of the forest.
There's a meadow shinning in the back and the moose is in the shade of the forest's canopy. spots of sun peak through here and there, but it's inconsistent
What do you mean by IN VELVET???
It describes the antlers: in the painting the antlers are in a stage of growth when they are covered in a soft, velvet-like skin.
