I enjoy seeing your excitement of you showing your hauls. Some people don’t know the thrill of finding something that cost a lot of money for less than the original cost. 😊
The Free People Sunrise bohemian top is a dream❤❤❤. I love it. Such a good find. The parachute pants are also a dream. I can imagine styling them with the Free People bohemian top 😊
The fossil leather bag at the thrift store can be restored. That probably cost a couple hundred dollars new. Since it had water stains, you could put it in a sink full of cool water and let it sit awhile. Gently rub it to see if it will blend in. Fill the bag with rolled up towels to give it some shape and let it dry naturally for a couple of days. Leather balm, beeswax, or even mineral oil all over the leather will replenish it. When all else fails you can always dye it the same color or even black and it will look brand new. I use craft paint to touch up areas of distress because I buy 2nd hand leather bags for cheap and refurbish them. Get a beeswax toilet ring (the type you add when installing a new toilet, they are cheap) and you have the best wax to restore leather. Fantastic deals.
New subscriber here. I found my first Johnny was shirt at the thrift store for five bucks ! Can’t believe someone would pay that much retail for it. Outrageous! But it was a steal for me 😆
Your style is so nice. I love thrifting and would so happy to find the things you find. All the clothes are great but I must say the leather purse and last pair of shoes are Chefs Kiss.
I enjoy your style, you pick up almost exactly what I would if I were shopping 🙂I don't really care about how much everything is worth, though, that's not really why I thrift. I thrift for the sense of adventure, and the surprise of what I find (or don't find) it's a treasure hunt every time 🙂but that's just me, maybe that's something that you really enjoy
@@ruralliberal1377 I love the thrill of the hunt as well. I do have to say one of the biggest reasons I love to thrift is the friendships I have made with staff at the stores. It’s like walking into a family home and we all say hi to each other and catch up since the last time we’ve seen each other.
Yes, that is my approach to secondhand shopping as well! I certainly don't mind stumbling across occasional high-end clothes, but it's much more about what appeals to me rather than name brands. That being said, I was very happy to find some Rag & Bone black oxfords recently. But I was first excited only by how perfectly comfortable they were, and only later discovered that they were something "extra!"🙂
Love the green flannel shirt on you. I def would have bought that, too. My thrifted flannel shirt collection is taking over the closet! (I think they breed overnight.)
I love the styles you found. Ive been two times this month to thrift a new wardrobe after losing a bunch of weight. One thing ive been searching for is skirts. The style i want has been hard to find in my size. Its the thrill of the hunt that keeps be trying! My goal is to only purchase things from thrift stores this year. I have to be picky!
@@jacki6301 Thank you! And congratulations on the weight loss. Finding good skirts are always on my wish list as well but I rarely find any like you. I hope you find everything you are looking for and also have fun while searching. What a wonderful goal!

@@janemahan2663 That’s fantastic! Do you thrift a lot of earrings? I absolutely love the look of earrings but I have and continue to have health issues with my ears, both hearing and skin/tissue so I have opted to forgo piercings and focus on other jewelry like necklaces, bracelets, and rings.
