Always check the imitations....my first Gucci bag in a pristine condition is from 60s when it was very subtle, got it for 4 dollars, it was unassuming but high quality that was very noticeable and then I noticed the old style logo of Gucci. The next find was authentic Louis Vuitton that I almost passed thinking that it was a fake , it was behind the counter of good will. Let's just check, I told myself, because the handle looked great and 💥 it was a real thing 😂cost me 60$. Don't assume and be lazy always check.

I feel like people stigmatize dupes but for me, I pause on large purchases that are trendy or when I feel the overconsumption mania setting in FOR ME. (It's something I struggle with LOL! I'm easily convinced to buy things I don't wear or use. They'll literally have the tags and I'll even forget I bought something and have 2 or 3 of them in my closet.) Love this video!

Love the brown clay pair of masks and the African frame print picture. I would love to find a genuine olive-green tote while I thrift. Prices are increasing in the thrift stores here in America also.
Same here in the U.S. Where I used to spend $2-3 for a blouse and $4 for jeans, it's now $8 for blouses and $15 for jeans. The plus side of the higher prices is that it forces me to be more careful about my purchases, and buy only things I really LOVE. I mean, $15 for jeans isn't THAT bad, but the stores are really overcharging in my opinion. Hopefully the economy will improve soon!

Asked the clerk at the counter, it was inside the jewelry counter, “why the high price for a fake bag”?, the clerk said “well, this is a greedy corporation! “, I laughed and I agree.
