Hey y'all, Jason here! For years, I was against seats on a paddleboard (it’s called stand-up paddleboarding for a reason, right?!). But hey, sometimes sitting makes sense-whether it’s choppy, windy, or you’re just cruising.
Most paddleboard seats kinda suck-straps everywhere, uncomfortable, and not much support. This is the best setup I’ve found: an aluminum stadium seat + some simple DIY tweaks. No complicated straps, just an easy, rock-solid seat setup with a few zip ties and PVC tubes.
I'll make another video explaining the best Kayak paddle idea for paddleboards and paddleboard seats. Paddleboard paddle hybrid..or not??? I say just get a kayak paddle and bring it along -I'll explain why in the next video I make.
