What is Ecrew? When I had to uproot and move to Indiana, there was a car community called Bcrew (B for Bloomington, Indiana). These guys became my family. Instead of partying on the weekends, I was working on cars- and I loved it. Since starting youtube, I have started what I call Ecrew. It's a community where you get to take 10min out of your day and be involved in a build, but more importantly it's a family.

Viper v10 is by far the most appropriate engine for that car.
Viper V10 sounds like a tractor engine just terrible sounding.
@@1BlackSheepYour Honda Civic sounds like a rattle can
@1BlackSheep They don't sound good, but love boost or being naturally aspirated. 9.0 stroker make 800+whp no problem. Gen 5 motor 1300whp stock motor no problem. They're also reliable. Even more reliable than a vette.
I worked for dodge in the vipers hayday ,They are very robust engines and yes they make great power when boosted. But for a daily I couldn't ride around in a car that sounds like a tractor.@@karlhopkins713
@@1BlackSheep it's an old-school MUSCLE CAR, it's SUPPOSED to sound like a tractor.
can't wait to see the superbird in all its glory!
😮you guys have an account?
Bring back the dislike button.
hell yeah
stop being so politically correct and stop harassing truth tellers and gun tubers
It's not a Superbird. This is a Plymouth Satellite that's been _heavily_ modified. It's a money pit, and nothing else.
A viper v 10 swapped superbird with twin turbos is so fricking SEMA. Insane build
426 hemi
If by "SEMA," you mean "white trash garbage..." then, yes.
Viper v10 is known to have weak head gaskets. Something to consider for reliability. My pick would be a old school 426 hemi with a manual trans. The 426 should be fuel injected and no carb headaches. Probably to boring for most but I like what I like. Think I would toss on a gmc 6:71 blower on the top just for fun.
I definitely wasn't ready for that "Sling Blade" clip 😂 "It ain't got no gas in it" 😂😂😂
Some folks call it a sling blade, I call it a Kaiser blade.
I remember Superbirds from back in the day; FYI, the body parts never fit well- huge gaps and body panels not even close to being same height, especially on the front end. As for the engine- no question it has to be a Viper V10 (built by Steve Morris). Everybody and their cousin has a blown Hemi (and I love those BTW). You want something to really stand out-- a V10. You're welcome.
I was gonna add that to same thing always heard that the nose comes were a horrible fit even when their brand new.
@toddpaulson7081 and I enjoy the unplanned non matching paint color! I love the old cars but factory fitment is not what restomods represent. Build it how you want. It'll be awesome.
Yeah there were 2 in the town when I was young. Just thought it was normal.....lol
In 2019 I directed a show for Chrysler at the SEMA Show where they introduced a 1,000 HP Crate Engine called the Hellephant. It included everything you need: Transmission, ignition, fuel system w/supercharger all made of aluminum. Very clean package with a warrantee. The only problem is it cost $29,999, and must be installed in a pre-1976 car if you want it street legal. They fired it up and it sounded amazing!!
My #2 choice !!!
Nicks Garage has everything she needs ???
426 naturally aspirated Hemi, the way the KING Richard Petty's car was and you could put the camaro exhaust on it 😁
Viper V10 it's the best choice.

Ohh, are you sure that slant/6 is not the best?
Basic bitch choice
I concur
Go with a Keith Black or Indy all aluminum 572 Stroker Hemi. For parts, WildCat Mopars in Oregon have many hard to find parts. Also, twice a year, Chrysler Performance West holds an all Mopar show and Swap Meet at Woodley Park in Van Nuys. One show event is held in the Spring, while the other is held in the Fall. Spring Fling is being held on April 20th and the 21St. Many of the parts you were looking for in the video, I've personally seen in abundance at this swap meet. There are also a lot of Mopar vendors present at this show.
I forgot all about WildCat Mopars... and they are between me and the nearest city.
Attsa great place for Emelia to go shoppin. Girls love shopping right? Only a few choice ones love shoppin for car parts. 😊😋💋
Thank you!
Nostalgic hemi is whats needed in that. Got one in the shop up here
Graveyard cars repair shop may have some hard to find parts for you 🤘 they even had a show it’s molars only type shop -hope this helps
I love the fact that you’re saving this car….. you will fall in love with it once it’s done. It’s a keeper.
Like she is.
But the title says she doesn't want it. So she can just give it to me
@@Nick-wr7vvsame, women complain to much but when the works done they want it. Been in a situation like that few times cracks me up
A viper motor would be crazy in that
A windshieldwiper motor .
ive ridden in those old muscle cars and i swear you cant compare it to nothing ..the power the sound ..its heaven
Contact Graveyard cars. Mark Worman knows where to get every piece you need for the "Bird". Hellephant for the engine. Also Mark has a guy that makes a K frame with coil overs and will hold the power. Expect to spend about $100,000 for the finished product, but the value when finished will justify the cost
Check AMD for Mopar body parts. The 69 Roadrunner roof is different than a 70. Doors too. Cloning a superbird some parts can be found on 70 dodge Coronets. The hood you want is a 70 Coronet that is modified. Side marker lights are also 70 coronet. You are cloning a car that is expensive and parts that are OEM expensive. The fenders are also 70 Coronet. I sold some 70 Coronet fenders years ago that were beat to death for a thousand. Wow what a project you are taking on. Back to the video! I’m enjoying it.
Adding on, I think the front fenders are also from a coronet- correct me if I'm wrong 😊
.... and just saw you had stated that 😂
@@jdnance168 no worries and they are 70 Coronet. The 70 Coronet and 70 Satellite roof I believe are the same. The 70 Coronet is an oddball of a car. It’s a one year body that is hard to find parts for and if you do they cost so much. Especially the front end parts like fenders, hood, side market lights and valance lights. They are all used on the 70 Superbird. The hood of the Coronet is cut and capped. This project will be so upside down that to regain your money from it won’t happen. But it’s a cool project. It’s basically now a rebody of a car. The trunk lid that is needed is a 70 Satellite. The hinges on them will need to be modified and those I believe can be found.
This would be a car that would be best to walk away from or make a Road Runner clone and add modern power train to it.
@DownRange556 yep, definitely hard to find! had a four door 70 coronet in HS. Came back from college and my mom had sold it. Love that body and been on a mission ever since to get another (2dr)! Love those old Mopar
@@jdnance168 yeah I’m a Mopar guy. I owned a 1970 Coronet R/T 1 of 1 car. I’m speaking first hand on how hard it is to find those parts and mainly because people clone Superbirds. Galen Govier and I talked at length about my car. I even stumped him on some codes. He offered me a job when I told him what they were and meant. This was way before the internet become what it is today. Late 90s early 2000s. We were still relying on magazine adds to find parts plus going to shows and swap meats. The good old days haha. The 70 Coronet had a mean look about it. Keep searching and I hope you find the one you are looking for.
There is no difference between a 1968, 1969 or a 1970 Road Runner roof they are identical, the only difference is the Superbird had a rear window plug installed.
try Tonys Mopar parts. You can get almost everything you would need in one place. if you are going to do it the way you said, do yourself a big favor and put a magnum force front end on it. you will not regret it.
Test drive a viper and challenger redeye and the one that brings the biggest smile that's the one.Make sure you bring us along for the ride.
Thats the thing about hobbies/work. You learn as you go. you'll know what to look for nrxtb time. After a while you will be a master at this. The key is to keep going. Never quit.
Old school 426 hemi w/modern EFI or 440 w/6pack. Either w/ 5 or 6 speed tremec. Definitely 3 pedal car.
I second the 426 Hemi, maybe a built/stroked one for ur HP. Got dayum, Richard Petty drove his 196mph! 😯 Thanks for the update, ur doin it up right girl. SuperBird! 😎👍 Oh don't forget the rebel flag on the roof! 🤣🤣🤣
bored, & stroked 426 (2nd gen) hemi, 528 CID/1,000 (NA) HP.
Definitely this ^
I'm from that era. Go classic. Why build a classic with an engine not of the era. A 426 Hemi (any version) is appropriate and a manual transmission. A 440 6-pack would be cool too.
They do run out of gears way before power !!!
An overdrive at very least !!!
Highy suggest adding a frame/body stiffener ive seen it on another Channel it connects the rear frame to front k frame stiffens up body and keep it from twisting Chris Birdsongs Channel Junkerup
Yeah, maybe hit Chris up fo some parts..? He is the Charger/Mopar Man 😎👍
Exactly why the top of wheel wells dimple out !!!
There are several places that need stiffening !!!
Especially if you plan on using the power !!!
A cage or at least a roll bar too !!!
WHEN I WAS 20, 57 YRS AGOI HAD A 63 DODGE POLARA 500, 426,WEDGE, 3;:91 posi, 2 dr. hardtop, auto, beefed by B&M TRANS, ON THE FWY IT GOT 5 MPG, AT AROUND 65, THE ENGINE WAS REVVING LIKE HELL, 8 MPG ON EL CAMINO REAL, FEATHER FOOTING IT, 20 GALLON TANK=100 MILES PER TANK FULL, WHO CARED GAS WAS 35 CENTS A GALLON, I USED CHEVRON WHITE LIGHTNING GAS, 101 OCTANE.
NOT A FWY CAR, BUT FROM STOPLIGHT TO STOPLIGHT IT WAS KILLER. GO WITH THE VIPER V10 GIRL.
Honestly put the Scat-Pack 392 in it. It's such a great sounding motor, and so much more readily available. Heck, if this is a restomod, go find an SRT Cherokee or Durango, put the whole drive-train in there, and make an AWD 392 superbird.
I remember when the Superbirds first came out. Upgraded suspension and V10 Viper motor would be so impressive.
I’m not a Mopar fan, but I will still enjoy this build!!!
I am just glad that you’re doing this to a clone and not the real thing!!!!
Good lord girl that Camaro could not have turned out any better. That cold start just kills me every time I listen to it! Your laugh says it all😂
When they pulled it out of the barn, I knew you had alot of work ahead of you! Good luck!
"It ain't got no gas in it!" Dead.
Guarantee when Emelia brought in the Superbird they thought "Yeah, rust is the ONLY thing holding it together". As for an engine I'd say Viper V10 just sounds right. Depending on where you live you'll hear enough of a Red Eye whine to fill your day.
Viper V10 is different, maybe not done in a superbird before
YES, working on more junk! a Super Bird replica, that's a clean slate to do anything. a V10 and 3 pedals so when people ask: "why a V10?" you can say "why not?" maybe the suspension from the 4 door Charger or the late model Challenger. i know little else about the new "chrysler" stuff (in quotes because it either Daimler Chrysler or FC!).
I agree....the modern Hemi would fit the car better. Make it sound old school like it should sound!
Sandy is right the redeye will give the proper sound, MOPAR or NOCAR seriously the Hemi is the classic way to go . If it was my car I would Helcat Block with modern 426 heads N/A.
N/A V10 Viper for the win!!!
V10! This thing needs the racing thoroughbred heart from a Viper!
Janak Repros in Spring TX makes a whole Superbird kit that has everything you need to make it as close to a real Bird as you can. Just food for thought!
I just want to give you credit for not lowering your standards and not wearing revealing clothing like most click bait car chicks. you're beautiful and I appreciate the fact you dont wear skin tight leggings/yoga pants, or low cut tops/bikinis. you're videos are about the cars and you keep it real. thank you for being you!
ABSOLUTELY TOTALLY AGREE!!
Wanted to say, I just found your channel and truly enjoy your enthusiasm about cars.. Nice break from other channels for me.. Absolutely awesome!!!
Oh nice you actually changed the whole rear panels from the satellite to a proper superbird. It’ll be a nice replica
Obviously, you did not acid dip the carcass first. Helps prevent problems later. The K-frame can be replaced with a modern re-pop. Looks good so far! I would stay with it, hands down.
The Hellephant A170. It's already set up for E85 and is rated at an estimated 1100 hp.
You always bring the 🔥 content, Thank You Emelia👍
If I didn’t kno any better I say you have a seriously evil laugh may is saying broom not needed here but thank you for the stunning sincerity and kindness… keep up the spicy content love that draw after letting off the TT407 because we all know it’s not capable of 408 without a 400 block
Viper lump please with extra sauce.
Going to be a long expensive build, but will be worth it.
👍👍👍😎😎😎
Viper v10 and the T56 combo!
Emelia’s laughter is so awesome. You cannot help but laugh with her!
You are Hilarious Emelia but Dam! That Bitch 69’ sounds so Good!🤙
Those screens were your Nascar mandated arrestors to help prevent igniting anything near the exhaust outlets. They supposedly help trap flames, sparks & red hot glowing particles, lol. Similar to forestry service vehicles.
Well you can call it a restomod. Make it sparkle like lip gloss on a prom date and it will still be a bird Plymouth. You are a true gem of a lady for seeing this through to the end. Most car buffs would have gave up. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
The Nascar exhaust is cool for a bit, but if its taking away from fully enjoying the Camaro because your eyes are burning then definitely change the exhaust.
It's better that the Superbird is a replica, You can do what ever you want. It had both feet in the grave and you saved it. 👍 It's an underdog story. Or more accuratly an abandoned dog story 😅
Looks like the body shop is doing a good job. I'm torn on the engine choice.
In europe even roadrunners are really high in price
@@guille92h real roadrunners arent cheap in the states either.
11:52 My thoughts
1) Hellaphant, redeye crate, or new forged bottom end hellcat good for 1,000 +
2) N/A 426 BGE motor
3) Viper v10 from Gen 4+ - I feel the car would need to be Patina style or SEMA quality for the v10 to fit though.

440 na motor! Period correct but crazy na power. Nice update.
It was 426 Hemi back in the day! 😎👍
@@BillyJoeJimBob28 I am aware of the stove that came in the original. I made the comment of a 440 as this was what was available back in the day, not a viper or demon motor.
the 440 Commando six-pack was a great 1/4 mile engine.
@BillyJoeJimBob28. Almost all of the 1970 Superbirds came with a 440. Only about 150 came with the 426 Hemi. Some of the 440s had six barrels, but most were 440 four barrel.
Modern engines will never have "that old school sound". Never. Ever.
Everybody nowadays goes restomod - you need an old school Hemi with a big cam. Period. If you insist on going EFI, that's fine, I guess, but I personally would go with dual quad, or maybe even a 6-pack.
Back it up with a Tremec TKX and a Ford 9-inch.
Yeah the classic mopar V8 have the best sound.
i think you will get so many more views with a v10 build. also to me it just sounds like a cooler build. but i support either chose. love the content. keep it up!

Definitely gotta go with a V10
Thst V10. exhaust note is amazing
E85 is cheap but you get what you pay for, crap fuel. Here in Norway the new standard is E10, and even 10% ethanol is creating big problems for vintage cars - but also cars only a few years old, and injection cars are hard to adapt. Here E85 is mostly for race cars. (my 1977 European Ford can use E10 with some small mods). Good to see this car being saved.
It eats metal and rubber and is simply Hell on carbs an valves and seats ...
Injection and special parts otherwise 2 years maybe...
Eats right through steel an carodes everything else...

*_Well if you continue it'll be a 1 of 1… and one hell of a build._*
Hit up UTG. He'll probably help you out getting parts for a reasonable price. I think AMD recently started making the 70 decklid. They probably have one they can send out the back door. Or you can go fiberglass.
Viper V10 , i was a Dodge Viper Tec so i'm just a little biased. This makes me so happy you are the one saving this old bird.
As a "Viper Tec" (worked for Dodge for 8 yrs never heard of a viper tec) You know that is the worst sounding V10 ever made. BTW Viper's are rare enough there is no Viper tec position, I worked on trucks, vipers ,neons, minivans whatever came in, I was however a certified Diesel Tech.

Love your channel car builds wild cars, with torque, horsepower and turbo set ups sound great .
Only second vid I've seen of yours. First was the actual find of the SB in the barn. You definitely know your chit. I recognized that fact when you said we are going to replace this 18th century buggy suspension. That was a good one.
Go with the Red eye. Congrats on the rust bucket. Good luck finding all the parts you need! I'm glad you are having the body shop handle the rust because they can get it done right the first time and faster. It's better to focus your build on the engine and suspension.
For Parts, go to Spring Fling 2024, its being held on saturday April 20th and Sunday the 21St. At woodley Park in Van Nuys, California. You Will find a ton of gran priced used Parts you need and new Parts from Mopar vendors. It Will be a KICK to set you there. 😉
Looking good! Same with the car! I would put a big block or even a hemi 707 HP. It was a close one with that vinyl roof causing the rust. That was funny the nose dropped out when you touched it. I’m glad the milk crates were under it. Do you want to go with the same engine as the charger had on the fast and furious with a little blower. “Injection is nice but I would rather be blown” 😜
Twin turbo supercharged awd v10. Also be cool if the original wing is altered to be active. If I ever got the money to build one I’d do that but with a v8
I agree with Sandie on the engine, ma, but I know whatever you choose is good. As long as you love it, then we love it too. That smile on your face is all that Matters.
Lol chill, Romeo.
You should talk to Mark Worman. He's the Mopar guy with the most knowledge on where to find parts or his friend Tony.

You should build it like that purple Viper you drove on sorted, full on resto-mod replica monster
As a Mopar guy, I'm glad the car is being saved. I vote for the Viper V10, it would be one of a kind, but a redeye crate motor would be easier.
100% go with a 9.0L stroker viper engine. and maybe do some forced induction in the future!
Viper ACM driveline would be crazy.
Oh and the sound would be ridiculous
i found my 70 Road Runner in a pig sty sitting on the frame with zero interior and with pigs living in it then was able to find a 70 Chrysler 300 that had been crashed with a 440 TNT 727 trans and interior... took me two years to combine both cars rebuilt the engine rewired and right as i was getting to the point of driving life made a twist and i got in some trouble and had to sell it without ever driving it...thankfully it had zero rust, good luck with yours
All love from Az. Youre not only (from what i know) a good person but absolutely gorgeous ontop if that. God bless. 🙏🏻🤙🏻
Ooh, the V10 sounds good.
Having blown up a couple Viper V10s, I cannot stress enough to go with a modern Hemi. #7 in the Viper loves to breathe fresh air.... too much fresh air.
Haha I imagine the LAPD knows you? Haha so much fun to watch your videos.

Abandoned B- body mopars (charger, roadrunner, daytona, superbird, gtx, belvedere, coronet, and super bee) are known for their rust especially truck floors above the gas tank and frame rails. Also b-body mopars are the most favorited by mopar enthusiasts which is why parts for that car are so expensive.
i love your laugh , makes me smile!!
V10 viperrrr alll da wayyy
At this point, just fabricate a car from scratch.
you should take the Superbird to MUSCLE ROD SHOP they specialize in Mopars and make parts that are missing. the only thing is it is here in Texas
BTW, I THINK THOSE LITTLE PIECES OF METAL WERE THERE AS PROTECTION FROM BUGS, INSECTS, & RODENTS FROM GETTIN INTO YOUR EXHAUST SYSTEM, AND EVENTUALLY INTO YOUR ENGINE, CREATING BIG HEADACHES
