Have YOU Tried This CRAPPIE FISHING TECHNIQUE⁉️ CRAPPIE FISHING WITH A JIG‼️
Вставка
- Опубліковано 29 кві 2024
- In this video, I am crappie fishing with a jig from the kayak. I am shooting my crappie jig under this dock. Crappie are using the shade and structure that the dock provides to ambush bait. Dock shooting for crappie can be easier when fishing from a kayak, because you are lower to the water and have a better angle to shoot your jig under the dock. Post spawn crappie fishing is starting to heat up in East Texas and these crappie are hungry! Don't miss some of the best crappie fishing of the year. This video is a great example on how to catch crappie with a jig. Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoyed this video. God Bless!

As I've been told a bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work. As I see there is never a bad fishing day in Texas. Thank for the video and keep catching them
You got that right! Thanks for watching! God bless
This awesome catch. Enjoy your fishing. You and Richard Gene the Fishin' machine are my favorites. Thanks again.
I appreciate that! Thanks for the kind words and for watching!
You like fishing very much and have mastered a lot of fishing skills.👍

Started shooting docks and boat houses after last year's video. By far the best technique on you tube. Catching tons!!!
Thanks for watching! A great and fun way to catch crappie for sure!
Love the video. It happens to the best of us when one gets away.
That’s true! Thanks for watching! God bless
I can relate. When I make a bad golf shot or lose a crappie like that, I can’t get over it until I make a good shot or land a good fish. It gets real sour when I end the day with a miss!
Yeah. You definitely have to have redemption lol and I think I got it!
The dock Master putting in work 🎣 great video
Thanks for watching! God bless

I’m definitely thinking about it! But all this rain isn’t good for it!

Yes sir! Thanks for watching! God bless you
Great video Caleb, go back to that spot🎣🏆😎🐠
I’ll definitely be back.
We always called them black nose crappie. Great video.
Thanks for watching! God bless
I used to shoot docks and up under low hanging tree limbs 50 years ago so it’s not a new way for me but it’s a good one everyone should try it good job fishing. Oh yes if you haven’t lossed a big fish well you don’t fish much it happens to everybody 👍
You got that right!
I call it Mr T
Thanks for watching!
In Oklahoma we call them "black nose" crappie
Nice! Thanks for watching! God bless
Good afternoon Caleb and everyone else. Caleb how's school going fish school that is ..😂😂😂
It's in session 😅
Awesome catches bro. I wish I had some docks to fish - I have to work hard to find crappie here!!
I’m sorry to hear that brother! Go get them!
I call them Mohawks
Great video. Do you ever shoot docks from your boat?
I will have dock shooting videos from my boat soon! Thanks for watching! God bless
Sad that wherever you are from there is a size limit. Cuz the small ones are the best when fried crispy.
10 inches and over in Texas!
I've heard em called Mohawk. I stick with Black-Nose.
For sure lol
💪🏾
Thanks for watching! God bless
Magnolia
Go back for sure
I’m definitely considering it!
I call it pan worthy
For sure lol
I'd be looking into that side close to the grass.
Hey them fish don't ever get hung up in the material on that thump net. Like their bottom fins when dumping or adding?😊
No they do not! The material it’s made out of is great!
Crappie with the black strike is call a black nose crappie.
Yes sir!
Call them good eating crappie 😅😊
You got that right!
called a blacknosed crappie - has a distinct black stripe running from its nose up its back to its dorsal fin. Magnolia crappie are a hybrid species between white and black crappie.
Yes sir! That’s correct
We call them black nose crappie in TN.
Yes sir! Thanks for watching! God bless
We call them black nose or magnolia here. Lake eufaula Oklahoma but I’ve heard every name you named off and some lol
I would definitely try that dock out again brother.
I think I am going to go back!
I call it oweee lol
Thanks for watching!
It's just a blacknose. Definitely not a magnolia unless u in Mississippi. Pretty sure you're on Wright Patmman tho. That's a giant dock. The lower they are to the water & harder they are to get a jig into.. the better the fish are under it usually. Lots of bigger males & females both still on beds. Everywhere I'm fishing they are anyways
Patman don’t have any docks lol
@903fishing I don't fish it at all. Wouldn't know. Fork & Pines & Navarro Mills & Arrowhead are my holes. But I know where u hang out at mostly. Not that I'm real concerned. Nice dock tho
Go back 🎣🎣
I’m definitely thinking about it!
What size Piscifun reel do you use?
I have the 500 series on my dock shooters!
Are you reeling after you shoot the jig under there or are you just letting it drop?
Yes slow reel. Dock isn’t very deep
Are you using straight braid?
Oh no, not for dock shooting. As mentioned in the video, I am using 6# copolymer
So, I have two of the ACC 5'6" crappie stix and I love them them. I haven't used them a whole lot yet. My question is, will it handle the slab size crappie like you are catching as good as your 6 foot ACC Crappie Stix? Does 6 inches really make a difference? I'm thinking maybe a foot or more would make the difference. I've googled that question and am not finding simple answers.
The 6 inches you talking about really only helps with distance, YES it will handle any crappie in the lake, I personally use a 5’6 also been using it for 30 years or so dock shooting, so I am sure you will have zero problems with the rod you are using, really personal preference. Hope this helps you.😊
@@dannylang7971 Thank you!!!🙂🙂 That answers my question. Distance is not what I’m looking for, so that’s good. I am much more comfortable with the shorter rods. Thank you again!
Glad I could help you.
good job buddy , nice video
Thanks for watching! God bless
Good video, need to get me a two piece acc so I can get on some fun.
Yes sir this is the 2 piece 6’ rod. Great for docking shooting!
Are you using a 6ft 6 or a 8 ft to shoot them with
I am using the 6’ 2 piece rod! It’s great for dock shooting!
How far away are you from the dock
ahhh about 3 foot from the front of the kayak. I have a 10 foot kayak.
First 😮
Let’s gooooo
At least it wasn't a 15 to 16 inch crappieyou lost , but a 12 inch is still a good size crappie
True that lol
Black Face
That’s a new one!
