mam but ncert books h1 lie on the surface of nucleosome .tb bbi ushko consider ni krenge still it lie on the surface of nucleosome( sorry for disturbing u mam again and again😅)
Mam the total no of base pairs in mammals (including human) is said to be 3.3 billion and in book there is a question in the para that a typical mamalian cell has 6.6*10^9bp....I am not grasping the meaning of it please help
I think it is mentioned in NCERT , 3.3 *10^9 is for haploid content and 6.6*10^9 is the length of DNA for human diploid cell. For more clarity visit - www.toppr.com/ask/question/what-is-the-length-of-human-dna-containing-66times109-bp-nitrogen-bases/

Mam in book the typical nucleosome contains 200 bp of double helix but here u have told us it is 146....please explain mam...
That 146 base pair of DNA is wrapped around the nucleosome however the extra amount is the linker DNA so the total amount will be approximately 200 bp
