For your cupcake bottoms use a toothpaste cap it has the ridges for your mold, you have great ideas and I can see you will inspire other girls , sell your stuff!!!

This is absolutely adorable. I love your aesthetic. The fence backdrop & banners add so much. I made cupcakes for the first time recently and used a bottle cap with ridges to make the mold. So easy and fast. I love Amazing Mold Putty
@@jaredrichardson78 Thank you! My patience level is minimal so I was dreading having to sculpt the little lines in the cupcake liner. I glanced down as t my desk and happened to see the perfect cap on a mini bottle of gel super glue and the rest was history.

I can read Japanese and the instructions seem pretty standard (your Amazon link included a photo of the instructions): "Store in a warm place away from sunlight; Wash your hands before using it; Don't use water when you're working with it; and don't try to bake it in a microwave or oven."

Wow! Where have you been hiding! I subbed so I won't lose track now I found your channel! I tend to use Milliput for most things because you don't need the oven, you can paint it, it comes in a small variety of colours and softness, and its pretty much indestructable once cured. Love what you did here, I have some foam clay, deco cream clay, air dry clay and Milliput as well as mould putty and I am really enjoying your video. I will check my baked goods moulds and, if I dont have the right size I'm sure between your ideas here and the variety of "what you keeping that for" (as Little Gretchen says) I will find a suitable mould for a flan! You are making me hungry! Lol! I am off to check out the Cosmos clay I will check to see if you have an affiliate code before I buy it.

I just discovered your channel today because I love miniatures and I have to say your works are so lovely ❤ Also, I got very curious about the two bottles of...something that you said you mix in equal parts to get the molds. I didn't know such thing even existed haha. Is it perhaps still available to buy somewhere online? ^^
I did that because the air dry clay takes acrylic paint better than the polymer clay.😁 It absorbs the paint and the polymer clay is more like plastic and wants to have the paint stay on the surface. That’s the main reason but also I wanted to make a mold so I could make some more to give to some of my Patreon people.
@@missminilife Ahh ok that makes sense. I didn't realize the air clay absorbs the paint which makes it look nicer. I'm also one of your Patreon people and I appreciate the extra work. My last attempts to air dry clay model tiny food was frustrating but I didn't try painting it. I will give it a try next time. Thank you.

Why did you sculpt the food and then make a mold rather than just using the sculpted piece? Your results are great but why the extra steps?
I did that because the air dry clay takes acrylic paint better than the polymer clay.😁 It absorbs the paint and the polymer clay is more like plastic and wants to have the paint stay on the surface.
