In india , Gujarat where I live per unit cost is 7.57rs/unit, including all taxes, for 600-700 unit range. So if we calculate 640 unit will cost u 640*7.57=4800rs only. Pakistani govt charging 57200 rs for that!!!!! What a shame , dacoits of centuries.
If our currency is 3 times stronger than theirs so roughly 5000*3 = 15k approx, still 57k what they charge is beyond imagination, what a shame, i live in jharkhand here per unit cost is 7rs but here there is govt subsidy also which brings down to rs5 per unit cost

As an Indian I can’t get my head wrapped around the thought of how a common man in Pakistan will be able to pay such high electricity bill and still make his ends meet.

Earlier in 2010s indian army employees in Govt residence used to get free electricity bills but after that everyone have to pay,even if you are in govt residence, my father when retired in 2015 had to pay 45000 from his Full & Final.
