    Interesting insights. Having looked at the workshop manual mazda specifies to check pressure at 70-80°C and gives reference values for this temps only. It certainly make sense what you're saying about oil getting thinner at higher temps, basic laws of hydraulic apply on this engine too 😁 Great content as always.

      I know, I have seen that too 😜 but as we have a lot of these mazadas here I have quite a lot of reference data 😉

    It can also be the PCV valve. If it gets blocked, lots of different symptoms can surface up.
