Let's be honest. The only reason the reporter is in New Orleans is because it's a well known popular city and Katrina happened here( good for ratings). They could have reported from Morgan City or even Baton Rouge, which will take a bigger hit. ( Reporting from New Orleans. We will be fine. 😂) 60-70 mph winds for a few hours is just cool breeze. Try it sometime.
Tropical storm hurricane Francine 🌀 is about to lash Louisiana 🇺🇸 and some power outages will be possible of the winds today on Tuesday tonight it will get lots of flooding inches of rain 🌧️. ⚠️
Maybe the first idiot should check out the damage left from previous Cat 1 storms. Also, plenty of hurricanes have been predicted as Cat 1 or 2 and then changed to Cat 4 just as it made landfall. I understand it's not plausible, but if somehow he could lose everything in this storm, but his neighbors come out of it ok, that'd be just fine with me.
Don’t be fooled, storms can go from cat 1 to cat 2 or 3 in a few hrs. Prepare folks, always better to prepare than to not.
Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.
Remember what Otis did to Acapulco last year ?

The last cat 1 to come through BR was Cristobal. It's going to be okay.
