I'm glad you found the video helpful! I didn't think there were any areas that were dangerous or unwelcoming, but the locals can definitely tell you're from out of town and will kind of just look at you sometimes.
Hey I am from 30 minutes out side of Klamath and go to “town” aka Klamath falls almost daily. For the most part Klamath falls is a very safe place to visit and live. There is more petty crimes. Like Petty theft and larceny. But major crimes if we do have any really rocks the community. And it doesn’t get handled or taken lightly. If they feel like Klamath falls was Hidden, they should have drove 30 miles south to Merrill. It’s even smaller. 😂 Anyways welcome to Klamath I hope you enjoyed your visit. And yes ice melt, rock salt, kitty litter gets used often to melt ice and snow. Otherwise a lot of people would be slipping and falling. Not far from downtown. (Daily bagel) cars will slide down the hills into other cars or sit in the middle of the street because of ice.
@@jonavantour9856or if they drive 30 minutes north to chiloquin 😂 Also I'm surprised Ruddy Duck was even okay for them. Service there has not been great there in awhile.
@@carolinem4010 never been to ruddy duck. And very true. I never go to chiliquin unless I am driving through headed somewhere north. So I usually don’t even think about that way too much lol. 😂
You guys went to the daily bagel shortly before the new owners closed it. So you didn't get it at its best. No, there isn't much variety here as far as food goes.
There's an excellent local history museum there too, definitely worth a visit.
Thanks for the recommendation! I’ll add the local history museum to my list of must-visit places in Klamath Falls if I go back.
You should come during the summer, it is way warmer and there is way more to do
What activities do you recommend doing during the summer?
@@honeybunnixoxo there are different hiking areas around, along with some swimming areas.
Just don't go in Sept through Oct the lake smell is unreal and the midges are out by the thousands
😮
Thanks for sharing! Did you feel any areas were dangerous or unwelcoming?

@@jonavantour9856 thanks for the insight in the local community! As someone that grew up in SoCal, dealing with ice and snow is a mystery to me 😂
