They are asking for it to be paused until it can be decided whether or not the judge can remain on the case.

Judges in America have become entirely too arrogant. It was completely improper to meet with the it was completely improper to meet with the prosecution without the defense being present and the judge knows it. It does not matter how the defense attorney found out the fact of the matter is it happened and the judge is dead ass wrong.
