I saw someone take a spoon collector, display box and they removed the wood mounts that the spoons stayed in, put some blue velvet as a backing (she's into Victorian decor), and displayed several of her antique glass beaded purses, she's collected. She was able to get 2 boxes, for $2 each!!! It looked fantastic, and there's got to be several around, since spoon collecting was a "thing" way back, but is no longer "in"! Just an idea to reuse something for a better purpose!
I also think it is nice that you promote other vendors on your videos . I have noticed you are attracted to the same kind of stuff at every sale.

I have my dad’s old black lunch box from when he worked at a dairy processing plant. I place stationery, pens and stamps inside for quick reach. The large galvanized pots are great for placing larger potted plants inside for display. I have many and the old ones are not easy to find in good condition with no leaks. This place had many great vintage finds. My mother’s vintage wash boards are in the laundry room at my beach cottage. Those yellow chairs were to die for….and the metal water faucets handles I have framed against a linen board and placed in a shadow box. I put the frames in bathrooms. Even look great just nailed to the bathroom wall. I never pass up metal tool boxes, wood handled boxes and metal kitchen ware. love your videos…..

I just LOVE LOVE your videos! One thing I know between you, your mom and Debbie....you all have a great eye! Me too, but what I DONT HAVE is the ability to stage the great things in my house! My mom had it and it showed both in our home and her antique shop. So I have all this great stuff and have NO IDEA how to display them like you all do. Those metal posts that were at the beginning (white behind the buckets), I would have snagged those!! I saw them on a fence as a shelf with plants, decor and solar lights. So pretty!

Our bath tub when I was little, silver metal tubs. That stripped material is what my mom called “ pillow ticking” . Around here they make the wooden stars out of rulers or paint stir sticks.
Well no wonder I can't find much GOOD STUFF in Phoenix. It's all there. I love every thing that you bought. I would love to see your cottage. I bought one of the stars last year. I love it. I hung a wreath from it. I would love to take a road trip but I would have to have a usual. Take care.

Yep, I think you lost a few noodles there buying that big metal cabinet n the other. Are you going to do something with them or leave as is n put in your booth? I tell you what if I had the money to buy a ticket to Michigan ( I figured you put me up for a few days LOL) I’d be going to that flea market in September. I can dream can’t I LOL. Let’s just say I did do it how in the world would I get all my goodies home 😆. Could you imagine how much fun we could have. I’m telling you you guys have great flea markets. I just wish I could go.

Must share this. As you know I’m going to do the same thing you did with the window but when I pulled out my window from the shed it’s a 6 pane window. I thought for sure I had one like yours. I’ve got some figuring out to do to get my letterings on a 6 pane window.
I did get the wood to make my little fence. So be patient with me I’m not as good or quick as you to use all my goodies you sent. Okay, I’ve chatted enough.

Several years ago a friend and I made stars out of old wood snow fence. They work great and so cheap. The folding rulers are carpenters rulers. I have my father's from back in the 1920s

I would not have been able to pass up that metal cabinet, either ! It was beautiful ! Doesn’t seem like you found any wooden kitchen utensils - I have a big collection that I started about 15 years ago & I’m so glad I did because the good vintage ones are much harder to find now - the ladies just aren’t letting them go anymore, especially since the farmhouse look has remained popular for so long !
We use wooden dpoons to decorate )and use) in our kitchen. Least expensive place we find them is Goodwill.

I use the ruler/yardsticks for stars, but my favorite is the one I made into a crown 👑. It’s only got 3 points but then I tied jute around the bottom side to keep the base sticks tight. Love it!

Hi Soal, my fellow Michigander! Yes, it's Utica, Michigan!!! You have to go to Midland...Midland is a really good one and I find things very inexpensive there. $10, $5, etc... I have a video on that flea market, too....watch it so you can see what it's all about. Ok? The BEST flea market though is in Ohio...it's called Springfield Antique Show and Flea Market! I go there EVERY year....it's HUGE! We'll be there on Sept. 16, 17 and 18th. We're meeting up with everyone from Flea Market Rescue on that Saturday, Sept. 17th for a group photo at 2:00. You should come! You'd LOVE it!!!

I have never seen anything close to the flea markets you are blessed with. What is called a flea market around here are really Chinese junk and discounted perfume and more Chinese fall apart junk. I really enjoyed seeing the items you flipped for and meeting your fans in person.
Mitchel...I know what you are saying. I've been to some of those, as a matter of fact, my Mom and I use to go to Shipshewana years ago and then it just became all Chinese imports, socks and t-shirts. I don't know if it's changed since then but it just wasn't worth the four hour drive anymore!!! They can really ruin a flea market by letting all that stuff in!!!! That iron bead looks exactly like the one I had as a child. My mom walked away too two of them when they bought a house that was completely furnished the year I turned 13. I didn't know it's value at that time. Now I do and cringe everytine I see one similar!

OH, WOW...you grew up in Shelby Twp?!??! What a small world!!! Utica Flea Market is on 21 mile rd....between Van Dyke and Schoenherr. They have it three times a year. The next one will be in September. Another really good one, that is even bigger is Midland Flea Market. I would definitely recommend that one. I even have a video on that flea market, too!!! I finally saw a Hall's red poppy bowl at 24:29. Don't see them too often now.
The two table legs could have been used with a wide board that is attached to the wall of an entry hall.

There over a 100 dealers there, it’s suppose to be one of the top 10 best shows In The Midwest.

About those ice cube trays.... you pull the lever and you dont break the ice cubes - YOU BREAK THE LEVER! Then you begin swearing and your Mom smacks the back of.your head because swearing is not allowed. Then your Mom tries to salvage the ice cubes by running the tray under water to loosen them and instead the water makes them all stick together and your Mom begins swearing and you lift your hand to smack her in the back of the head because swearing is not allowed but she gives you the "eye" and you slink away thinking that there are worse things than warm kool-aid.

or you can set your Christmas tree in it I have a smaller one not it's not real small but it's not it's next to the biggest one and I put my tree in it and put burlap around well actually I turned it upside down and put burlap around the tree bottom so it looks really nice it's got this rustic patina on it it's so nice
I love the wooden stars but i can't sell them in my booth. I made 3 . And have sold 1 of them. been sitting for e year at least.
