Always works this way.. You put up a shelter for rain and it doesn't rain.... you decide not to bother and it Rains !! I would just put it up as it was easy and your set to work without a rainstorm passing over you ... 👍 Good Call
Another good day's work from Dad and Son team - putting the effort into every job. When you get your hip done Steve, narrow alleyways and step-ups will be a piece of cake!😊
Steve hope you get that hip sorted soon pal you both work hard and are very good at what you do, Love watching your channel lads, good health and many thanks 👍
Good thing you put up the shelter or it would have rained all day. I gotta go with Andy how you brickey’s manage to keep the brick face clean amazes me. Nice job fellas
Hello Steve and Alex. Looks a nice job. Good idea to use the temporary roof you can bet your life that it would have rained if you didn't. I can see your struggling there Steve! Hope you get sorted soon.
Hi Steve & Alex. Another cracking job. Really going up fast. Not much room but you always manage it. The roof Steve better than some proper roofs I have seen lol. Have a good weekend 👍
Nice work guys. As a viewer, the quality of your workmanship in comparison to the visually impaired person (I avoid the word bricklayer so as not to associate you with that master builder) who built that extension is night and day. If I needed anything built, I would feel very lucky if I could get you two on the job. Thank you as ever.
@SteveAndAlexBuild Always speak your mind my friend credit where credits due. You ever fancy a trip round New York I'll make sure you get looked after 100% 👍🇬🇧💂🗽
I always enjoy your videos and get a lot from them. However, on this one there was a little too much time lapse of the same thing i.e. just a stretch of wall being put up, albeit with great skill. I think that the length of the video could have been cut quite a bit on this occasion. That said I'm still looking forwards to the next one.
@@SteveAndAlexBuild on NHS waiting list? That is disgraceful, I can see how much pain / discomfort you are in. I don’t suppose C19 lockdowns helped the queue……..poor sod
@alanpowell24 . I was told I w too young to have hip surgery so never went to docs . When I finally did I was told my hips are shot so put one list . 9 months ago 😞🧱👍🏽
So often your jobs require lots of demolition and inserting lintels. It's a pleasure to watch you lay bricks. Looks like you're having fun.
Thanks , yes it’s nice to build walls now and again. 🧱🧱🧱👍🏽
A lovely piece of brickwork, shame hardly anyone will get to see it…………

Its amazing how bricklayers keep the brick face clean, I've tried to lay brick a few times and made an absolute mess.
We all have in the past, some "qualified " brickies still do 😩 😆👍🏽🧱

Cheers Shane , yeah not fun at all but the mortgage still needs paying 🥺🧱👍🏽
nice job guys , can I ask with such a big gap why didn't you do a 9inch wall like the old days and you would still have had an air gap
We needed a normal cavity at the far end plus double the cost 🧱👍🏽

Nice work lads do ye work on day rate or price work
Always day rate , too many hiccups to slow price work down plus we can take our time to get everything spot on and tidy 👌🏼🧱👍🏽
Great video, looking forward to seeing the next one. Did you have your hip operation? Hope all is well, take care
Thanks Peter.
