Thanks for watching!
Wow, blew me away. Thanks too to Mr. B. whom I have not seen in 35 years. Great to find you. Thank you very much to the young lady with an old soul. Made my day!
There is a custom in America known as Trick or Treat!-here,however we have both TRICK and what a TREAT for the musical ear!Miss Trick is superb.
It's not only a very well played piece of slow stride piano music in Stephanie's hands. It's her touch!!! That's Stephanie Special !!! Not many, if any, can play the way she does: So calm, so soft as Blue Velvet, so amazingly beautiful.
Magnifique .Je ne m'en lasse pas . Et presque toujours sans partition .Quelle artiste!
Beautiful music, beautiful player!
An absolute joy to listen to on a miserable rainy winters day. Oh how I wish I could have played like her and many others. Such talent
Every time I listen to this, (I have listened 100 times) it gets to me emotionally. There is such beauty in the way you play this. I love to hear you play, and as you've guessed this is a favorite of mine. You are awesome, Stephanie!
A beautiful song beautifully done. Roy
Beautiful bluesy playing.. and perfect piano/recording. I love it.
Thanks for giving us this, Ms. Trick.
Wonderful playing!!!
Beautiful, peaceful, and comforting. Thanks.
such a talented person thank you very much.
I love this!!! Beautiful.
Dear Stephanie. I just love this tune. .It's a lovely piece of relaxed jazz, and you play it beautifully. I'm amazed at the huge repertoire and the different styles that are within those talented hands. But most of all I like your stride and boogie numbers. All that talent, beauty and personality. You are going to have a truly great career, If you ever come to play in London, make sure it's well publicised. I want to be there.
Awesome, like ever :)
Thanks, Steph - I always feel better hearing your play... :)
Love it!!
Beautiful. Very nicely played and great bluesy expression. Thank you
+Tom Bates I agree with you. You'll notice that I write my opinion in english language which is not my native language !
Yeahh ;-) Great Steph!
That was SO wonderful, Stephanie! And, so perfectly performed, too - thanks for sharing it!
Great music, Stephanie ! I enjoyed your tenths...
Beautiful!
Une sensibilité toute féminine dans cette musique; c'est très romantique
Stephanie, I have enjoyed all of your performances on UA-cam. I am impressed with how apparently effortlessly you move across the keyboard yet you produce powerful, varied sounds and rhythms during your presentations. Thank you for all the hours of enjoyment you have provided me.
awesome. thanks.
Excellent. 100%
Gorgeous.
Such a nice touch
HI Stephanie... thank you so much for this video... I'm really enjoying it. I never heard of Mr. B's music before... and find it most interesting, relaxing... I'm going to hunt down the piano sheet music and attempt it myself.. You play so well and you're so pretty too. Keep up the good work and videos .. many of us are enjoying it! :-)
Yeah!! I love it!
Nice!
Tune sounds remarkably similar to Pearl Bailey's 'A Little Learnin' Is A Dangerous Thing' - wonderful!
Stephanie, you’ve done it again: You made me gape! In Danish We have an expression: “You made me lose nose and mouth!” That’s it. I’m totally amazed of this tune.
Please more cd's to buy
Love this piece! Where can I find the sheet music?
And yet I still come across comments that Stephanie 'Lacks feeling' or that her playing is 'too mechanical' etc,. Next time I come across one I will direct them to this rendition of Little Brother. So what the hell do they want from her? In my more than 50 years of playing, Steph' is without doubt one of the finest pianists I have ever come across in any genre. Could it be that the criticism is based on nothing more than envy for a young woman that is not only incredibly gifted but beautiful also? I'm beginning to think that way. And I doubt that Stephanie ever wanted to be compared to the likes of Fats Waller etc,but that seems to be the basis for much of the criticism. Stephanie has now gained international acclaim with sell out appearances. I wonder what her critics have ever achieved? Incidentally, to those who accuse her of playing a piece 'far too fast', check out some of the same songs as played by Oscar Peterson. The speed and complexity will make your hair curl. Yet who would dare to criticize someone of his status? It would have to be a very brave person indeed.
Fantastic! Where can I buy the sheet music for this?
I assume there nothing that resembles sheet music available for this. If there is please point me in that direction. Learning this by ear for me is very, very slow......
honestly, it is hard to believe you don't have a million subscribers here.
there are piano hacks who DO.... not saying I don't enjoy them or they aren't talented,
but there is no denying the difference!
Except for that opening lick this doesn't really sound like Little Brother Montgomery style at all. Great tune though and of course the played impeccably.
