    Epic & Congrats! I like the FPV range(approaching 5km), nature wonderland, music and specially your calmness on turnaround, not to mention epic atmospheric layer breakthrough at turnaround.

      Hey, thanks, bro! Really cool to hear that. Just subscribed to your channel since you're Chimera7 (I've got it set to private, so you won't see it). Best of luck!

    Fantastic flight and edit!
    *Btw out of curiosity, is there a specific reason you fly in 100Hz mode? 50Hz gives a couple of dBm more range but i guess the DJI system is the limiter as 900Mhz travels further so not any need for more sensitivity. I tested ELRS 900Mhz 50Hz on the ground and the signal did not stop until -123dBm so i guess 100hz can do almost as good! Becouse of that i guess there is not really any need to drop to 50Hz unless flying for tens om km :)
    The strange thing is that this hard limit is different depending on Rx. The Radiomaster BR3 has much better reported dBm but that is becouse it has a powerfull signal amp. Downside is that the signal amp also increase noise so its not better. It starts at like -3dBm on groundtest vs -19dBm of my Happymodel Diversity but the Happymodel has better LQ stability so that is was i installed. I tested three different 900Mhz Rx. The BetaFPV Diversity was the worst in terms of dBm values.

      I tried with 50 Hz, but I keep getting this annoying message popping up: "Telemetry Lost - Telemetry Recovered"... not exactly fun, especially when flying long-range :) Those 3 dBm make a big difference, but unfortunately, I don't have much of a choice. Right now, -117 dBm seems alright, it's been solid up to 5 km.
      I'm planning to get an iFlight Diversity Receiver soon, fingers crossed it'll step things up even more. And yeah, I've heard some not-so-great stories about BetaFPV. I'm sticking with ELRS for now, pretty happy with it. My main concern is still the video signal, though.
      P.S. I noticed you don't have any long-range stuff on your channel, but I'd be stoked to check out your flights...

      @@Wild__FPV I see. I got that same message but on my previous Crossfire setup. I did not find a solution for it.
      Diversity is a great upgrade for sure. Less worries about loosing signal when turning and banking.
      I actually dont fly my big quads that much unfortunaly. I live too far away from any interesting location and dont own a car. I enjoy flying em localy over the water thought. I do have another YT channel that i use for some test stuff called "MyFpvTests" but its not anything special.

      So, you dealing with the same thing? Interesting... Couldn't find a solution anywhere, but hey, -117 dBm ain't too bad, and it's still more responsive than 50Hz... kinda the sweet spot, ya know? Bummer you don't have any mountains nearby or a ride. Hopefully, you'll figure that out someday 'cause soaring above mountains is an unbeatable feeling. Take care, buddy! Catch you later! ✌️

      @@Wild__FPV It was on my CF setup with Tango2, now i use ELRS 900 like you. Planning on doing a midrange flight soon to test it out. Yeah, its my dream flying up and down some big mountains. Someday i hope! Take care you too, and keep uploading those awsome videos!

      I really hope that happens soon, dude! Flying long-range is a whole different vibe compared to DJI FPV or Avata... My advice? Sell what you can and go for long-range. Good luck, man!

    cloud = water, be careful.

    • @Wild__FPV
      @Wild__FPV  10 днів тому

      I'm aware of that, gotta admit the cloud caught me off guard. Thankfully, it was a thin layer. Still, I've flown in clouds before with the DJI FPV, nothing happened, but of course, it's not worth the risk. Thanks for the advice, bro!
