- Today my girlfriend will meet me in Saigon, Vietnam. It's her first time abroad! :)
We will spend a day in Saigon (Ho Chi Min) in July 2022. How is Saigon now? I will show you the day time and also the nightlife in Saigon.
We are going to check out the famous Nguyen Hue walking street and then the crazy backpacker paradise: Bui Vien street (Bùi Viện)

Hey buddy: I’m a Vietnamese viet kieu whose currently live in Los Angeles, US. My wife and I were just in Vietnam in April for 6 weeks. You must have come right after I left Vietnam…. Just to let you know I’m also a motorcycle racer (as a hobby), which I ride 1000cc sport bikes (Ducati Panigali, Aprilia RSV4, BMW S1000RR, Honda CBR 1000RR,…). We are moving back to Vietnam to live in An Bang/ Hoi An). I would love to be your riding buddy next time you come back to Vietnam. Although I’m not a UA-camr, I do have all the gears: DJI Air 2, Hero 7, etc… let me know next time you’re heading back ?

Vietnam used to be much more beautiful and safer, but until Vietnam is free from the utterly corrupt and terrorist Commie regime, Vietnam remains a sh*thole for the locals (99% of the population want to get out and many have risked their lives doing so, like 39 young Vietnamese in UK container truck recently on the news) and a hit-and-miss vacation spot for foreigners with emotional attachment due to various circumstances perhaps like yours. Otherwise, Commie Vietnam is much like Commie Cuba for a tropical sojourn and much like Commie North Korea with its barbarity. Besides ranking near the bottom of Southeast Asia's in GDP per capita, Commie Vietnam is similarly ranked at the world's bottom in freedom of speech and freedom of the press, just above its fellow Commies China and North Korea. Lives of the 95% population under this brutal regime is anything but easy, with constant home and land-robbing that happen to them anytime the Commie government official bandits smell the increase in prices that these immoral lowlifes can inhumanely profit from with 100% risk free, while living in one of the most polluted places in the world (Hanoi is top polluted city in Southeast Asia) with contaminated food and water, along with constant flooding and highest rate of liver disease and cancer. Again, there is a reason why 99% of Commie Vietnam's population want to get out, including Commie government officials who launder their loots and blood money along with the kids overseas to the West. There is a reason why even Commie bandit like Vingroup's Pham Nhat Vuong (got rich primarily by colluding with Vietnamese Commie regime to sell their properties built on lands robbed from poor Vietnamese citizens. Search relevant search terms in Vietnamese, one would see tons of videos right here on UA-cam showing decades of land-robbing across the country, spanning for decades) safeguarded his loots of $4 billion from his fellow comrades by shipping them to Singapore for starter.

Gabi, what did your GF think of Saigon? Biu Vien looked pretty quiet. Early in the week? There weren't many tourist in HCMC when I visted in May. Will take some time for tourism to recover in both Thailanfd & Vietnam IMO.
She liked Saigon, but not Bui Vien. 😅 I think it was quiet because it was 8pm and also weekday.

How were you able to ship the motorbike back to saigon from da nang? The owner helped you with that or you figured it out yourself? I want to possibly do that if I rent a motorbike in vietnam
The owner guided me. He gave me the address in Saigon and that’s all. Very easy. Get in touch with your rental and ask them

I was searching for Videos on Vietnam, then UA-cam suggested one of your videos from Danang. Loved that one, after that I binge-watched your entire playlist from Vietnam, it was fantastic.
I have a query related to Drone flying there, I am traveling to Vietnam next month with my Mavic Mini 2. Before flying did you take permission from authorities? If yes what was the process like? can you make a video on that? it will help creators like me.
If you did not take any permission, were you bothered by the public/police?

As far as I know you can just bring the drone into Vietnam and fly it freely. 😉
