You know, people like watching fashionably executed Nero vs Vergil fights in DMC5 I personally like seeing the MGR Raiden vs Senator fights, showcasing all the different animations and combos. This scratches that itch
Eeyup It's really noticeable with the punches and kicks, but although the charge-up moves (big slams, fire shenanigans, the sort) are changed too, they're only barely changed for the Sam DLC. Kinda weird. This mod is the DLC attack speed, so at least it's technically base game
@@EnderGoku9001 His worst quality is spamming those two unblockable moves, neither of which give you a window to do very much damage at all. Without that habit, DLC Armstrong is pretty fun
wow they buffed up armstrong so much in the dlc , i actually preferred this version's explosion over giving him a ui for it's range and invincibility mode during charging
@@Sebdowner108 I didn't modify any "DoT" moves. All I did is increase the attack animations' speed to match the DLC. There IS one move that is slowed in the DLC (that AoE explosion) and I ignored it because I wanted a HARDER Armstrong. If you find this easier than vanilla, fair enough. But I'm a really good player - I needed this mod because Armstrong got too boring.
@@Spritzkrieg yea not doubting your skill it's always nice to have new challenges to test yourself, I just felt like the dodge window is better but it might be because I don't have to wait 300 years for his attack so it's harder to mistime the dodge. I didn't try to make mod look bad, standard Armstrong is pretty repetitive and boring tbh, maybe this is why I thought he's harder, since with this mod I don't fall asleep while fighting him lol. Also most people find Monsoon hardest boss, I always felt he's on the easier side of boss spectrum as he doesn't even have unblockables (except smoke grenades) so I guess to each their own

This mod made him easier lmao he just becomes Monsoon with 200% health, some DoT area attacks expire faster so it's harder to miss the dodge
