Hi Martyn. I'm slightly confused to the data presented in some of your previous few episodes, where you compare the RSI with the Stoch RSI. What processing timeframe are you using? I know you are using M1OHLC modelling but in Ep28 you say that you are using M1 as the signal processing timeframe. In Ep30 I see M15 data and in Ep31 I see H1 data in your csv files? Hope you can clear this up. I'd also personally like a future episode on cleaning data and the effect of spread on the results. Cheers, Ed
If you are looking at the settings tab, this timeframe merely determines which chart the backrest will be run on. And just in case you didn't know, the timeframe used for indicators can be parameterized in the EA (set with an input param). This is what I do and all backrests up to this point have used H1. Hope that clarifies. Martyn
Please talk about the bulls and bears power indicator. these are separste indicators but are used in tandem to validate entry buy and sell trades. Quite interesting.
Super interesting. I never thought about this technique.
Thanks for sharing knowledge!
Looking forward to your analysis methodology.
