This is the tutorial I've been needing for so long. I never knew how to transfer traditional inks to a transparent layer. Thank you so much for making this video!

    Thanks for sharing.
You can transform the images in "Smart Objects" to preserve the pixels information of the drawing when size it down.
That way if you need to size up for some reason... you don't loose the quality.

How does one color a page traditionally and then eliminate the blue guidelines afterwards? It seems like in every instructional video people ink only and then colors it digitally but I want to do all traditionally except cleaning up and erasing those pesky blue lines which are said to be "no repro". Guess they are not.

Anyone else agree with him that 600dpi is all you need? I have been scanning at 1200dpi.

you can use the 'diference' blend mode to match the layers with your sketches. this mode is for that purpose. but what is method for CMYK channels did you use some technics? cheers

How do i format a comic to be ready for publishing? Im all done with the drawing, coloring and lettering but i have no idea how to format it to book form. Id like all my pages to bleed but dont know how to use adobe indesign or anything like that.

I don't often draw my comics on paper, but when I do I always have to go looking for this video for the bit about isolating the line art via channels. Thanks for making this video! It's definitely great reference.

I have a question about printing. What size paper do you normally work on (also bleed and live area measurements)and how would you scale it down to fit the printing format you use for your books.

I will have to make a video on that I guess. :) Basically it's just a standard American comic size page with the standard bleeds. Ka-Blam.com has some good guides for this in their site.
