I watched this video quite a lot many years ago, never realized that JH was the owner of this truck until now lol small world

I've always love the sound of the duramax. it's the only diesel that isn't obnoxious when you change the exhaust.

I got all into modifying my 05’ Duramax. New motor and got it up to 525 hp. I then woke up in the middle of the night one day and asked myself why I was doing this to a truck made to pull and work. It was never going to be a race truck. I also realized a very important thing was the sound of the engine which will NEVER sound like a gas engine with a modified engine. I quit working on it and got back into gas and built performance motors
I mean i'm not a chevy guy but if i had this truck I'd Probably will love chevy's

J H I NEED HELP BROTHER! I have a 2006 ram mega cab with a 5.9 Cummins and my speedo stopped working! Along with the check engine light brake light and abs light. I replaced all the speed sensors, but still get code po500 for output speed sensor. When I brought it to a shop they told me it has a wire problem somewhere and they won’t work on it!!! I need my truck properly fixed man I’m in ft Myers can you help!!!???

This is an amazing truck but damn they need to clean up that tune, no need to be blowing that much smoke under boost, only pre boost, then its cool

Okay it's not really an opinion though, It's a known fact that having that much extra fuel will wash the oil from the cylinder walls. This truck would make so much more power with the same amount of fuel if even 50% of what's going out the tail pipe was burned.

Bad motherfuckin truck. My bit of criticism is that I bet you could swueeze a few more ponies out with some better tuning and maybe a different charger set up. That amount of consistent smoke tells me there's plenty more potsntial than 600hp if you throw some more air at it. Still fun to watch regardless, not knocking the video at all!
