man this one of the best game ever made. I loved it. I think I lost the original game somewhere. I wonder how, it was my favorite game as a kid. I was so sad I missed just one monkey ( in specter land). Good job for the WR.
Forgot there was a double jump for some reason, I remember more being a kid getting hella frustrated at not being able to make jumps at stuff you're obviously meant to come back to later. Wish I knew that slingshot glitch back then lol

There's something just so alluring about seeing speedrun done in the releases you played growing up. The Japanese TASes are serviceable, but I never was a fan of Spike's voice in that game. I am really liking just seeing the extent of when you death warp.
Yeah. The funny thing is, I didn't even know you're supposed to go up there until my brother showed me. I saw where it is on the map, so I thought that's just how the finish looks in the second Buzz Attack.
Tambero There is a max to how many of those gates can spawn in each area at a time, and there are more spawn points than the cap. So each time you go through the coaster the combination of gates that spawn will be different even though there will always be the same amount of them :D
Ya know, the best way I can describe this kind of speed running is like cheating on a 200m sprint. Instead of running along the track (like you're supposed to) as fast as you can, you cut across the middle of the field straight to the finish line.
So.. amulets, anything they grant? Other than percentage? I remember finally unlocking the bonus Specter battle I mean forever after holding save missing the lone monkey around Ape Escape 1's launch and baffled jus gets generic tune the Galaxy music
Nope this is played on a PlayStation 2 and recorded with a capture card. I am also running the splits manually, so they don't have to know where I am :D
