Sounds good. I just picked up a low rider s on Thursday. I love the bike, but as you said in a previous video, it does sound like a Honda rebel. Those slip-ons sound good.

Sounds good, but why do you need to sit on your bike, stand it up, just to start it?
Just finished washing it and it was in 1st to keep from rolling, sat on it to put in neutral, guess I could have done that without sitting on it too.

Do you notice any difference in low end torque vs stock pipes? Also, did you order them or pick up locally?

A local shop in Solana Beach. I love the sound of those. not too loud, just perfect, a cam would be nice but Im gonna keep her mostly stock until my warranty is up. Rise Safe brother, looking forward to seeing your ST

Did you tune the bike with the new mufflers?
No tune, just mapped. Need that warranty.

@@lowriderST24 No sir, a local shop used their tuner to download a map to my ECU, It runs really good. In my opinion, it couldnt be any better for what I got.

@@lowriderST24 Its a really great bike man, and I think they got all the issues with the M8 engine worked out, and the 117 with the heavy breather.
Does the bike need to be tuned by Harley after adding these slip-ons?? I am getting different advice. Thanks!!!!
Well, like you, I have heard different things. From what I understand if you just put a set of slip on pipes, you don’t need a tune. I believe if you put full exhaust and change the intake then you would definitely need a tune. I did have a fuel map flashed to the ECU when I had the pipes put on. It ran about 800 for the pipes, install and fuel map.

Does your low rider rpm hunt at idle? My bounces around between 650 and 1000 when it's hot. Stealership says that's normal.
Yesir. It’s been quite a debate on my Facebook page harley lowrider s. Join us brother. It seems the consensus on the idle and we have all agreed it’s normal and just rid ether shit out of it! Ride safe brother.

I'm thinking about changing my slip ons. I have the S&S grand nationals on my 23. It sounds really really good but the downshifts sound freaking weird

Yesir. They are non carb compliant.
Are u with baffles or with out baffles?
With stock baffles that came w pipes and a base map download brother 🤘🏻cost was around 800 for everything.

Original pipes make it sound like a sewing machine lol, they sound better i went for V&H short high output 2 into 1 wow sounds like rolling thunder plus put forwards on the bike make's it a much nicer ride

When you put the forwards on yours, do your knees rub up against the air cleaner? I was told that is a problem?
The Vance and Hines sound better but they look too small/skinny compared to the standard pipes. Maybe a set of wider pipes would be better?
I actually like the smaller profile of these compared to the stock baseball bats. lol. Ill probably go with a 2 into 1 eventually.

Did you do a tune as well? Looking for some slip ons that I can also exchange back to the standard ones when need especially on foreign tours.
No tune, just mapping for that exact purpose.
Are these too loud for neighbors if you leave for work at 530am?
Not at all. I leave every morning at 5 am.

The stock pipes on these bikes are reminiscent of the Jetson's. Sounds so much better with upgraded pipes.

@@Motosquatch I was asking because I see there is two versions of this slip on. You know the 22 models have the cats inside the slip on now. On the web they sale a cat version and one without the cats.
