We had our eyes open for other critters like manatees who are typically in the springs but the fish, turtles and the underwater ecosystem was pretty cool! I'm excited to adventure a spring with you 🙌🏼💙
Thanks! The water so so clear it was amazing 😍 Weeki Fresh Waters Adventures had a great system - they even brought the board around right to our cars!
I wanna say this is one of your best videos yet! I did Wiki Wachee with my cousin on a Kayak, but you just get the best view of the water from the paddleboard! 😍😍 And that was so smooth how you jumped back on the paddleboard after climbing that tree! 11/10 for this video! 😊👍
Wow, thanks so much Nahum! What section of Weeki did you do? It's so true, you really do get a better view of the water on a paddle board. 😆 It wasn't too easy to climb with one hand holding the camera but somehow I managed to nail the landing. 🙏🏼 Thanks again, I really appreciate the support and kind words.
I enjoyed your video very much! We might head over there tomorrow to beat the heat. We have been on it a few times on the paddleboards and always enjoy the trip. We load ours on our motorcycles and inflate them when we arrive. Usually put in at the Upperdeck restaurant dock. A nice long paddle that way.
Thanks for watching and commenting. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I hope you were able to get out and escape the intense heat Florida has right now! I love that you take your boards on the motorcycles! And you're right, next time I'd want a longer paddle. Happy adventuring!
Thanks for watching and commenting. Yes you can bring your own paddle boards or kayaks and launch from the State Park. You do need to reserve and pay for a spot. Check out the blog for all the information and links paddleadventurer.com/weeki-wachee-springs-florida/ Have the best time!
So glad you are able to enjoy the beautiful clear springs/rivers near Weeki Wachee. Just to the north is Chassahowitza Wildlife Refuge with easy access to springs, manatees in the winter but is a wider river flowing to the Gulf. Follow rt 19 north about 10 miles to Homasassa and turn left at sign. Best time is during work week, very busy during the weekend.
Wicked underwater wildlife. Looks like a MUST paddle spot!

Thanks for watching Dan-Erik! The diversity of paddling places in Florida is amazing 🙌🏼🥰
Love your Buccee's bucket hat! So cute! Aren't Florida springs amazing!?
Nice catch! 🦫😆 I got that on last year's road trip to Florida.
So epic! 🤩 I'm excited to explore and paddle more of them.
Gorgeous! What a beautiful paddle and great underwater shots / life! Also...amazing shuttle / paddle service! Great looking spot!

Cool!
It’s such a beautiful area!
i really like yours
It's an awesome board; it's super light and packs down half the size of a regular iSUP.
Advencha!😂😁
😄🙌🏼
Great video and looks amazing. You reserved a launch at the park but used your own paddle boards?

What kind of camera for underwater?
I use a GoPro amzn.to/3wHbDoK I recently upgraded to the 12 and LOVE it!
If you paddle during the winter months, you will see manatees and baby manatees that have to stay near the spring head where the temps are constant .
Thanks for the tip, Elska! I can't wait to come back and explore more springs this winter. Any other tips?
