The reason why l think this comic is really good is because the writer doesn't toot his own horn too much and actually sticks with the same vibe and themes the show itself had. It's obviously fan fiction, but it's true to the characters, l feel pretty convinced saying this is probably how dipper and mable would be as teens
Man, the date interesting...Pacifica loving yo destroying her old house antiques and vibing with Dipper is a good sign for first date...Plus the Supernatural/Curse locket/pendant fits Gravity Falls.

No, I'm happy with what we got, and it was a legendary show, but I prefer to keep it as it is rather than someone attempting to make a sequel that either repeats or creates a new story. Gravity falls isn't really about romance. But the idea is good and we have fans that make these side stories for the characters is unique.

@@auric79Thing is, I totally understand and agree with Hirsch about not wanting to drag it out too far; but I think he went too far the OTHER way with it, and ended it while the characters legitimately still had stories to be told. I think he should have spent at LEAST 3 seasons building up to Weirdmageddon, maybe even as many as 4 (though that’s definitely the absolute most, and I think 3 is probably closer to the sweet spot to end it on.)

I honestly would love to see them grow closer in the canon universe and well… they’d be really nice together. I ain’t gonna lie. Sure, dipper and Wendy had moments but it was one-sided. Then we saw dipper’s disastrous multiple date episode and honestly I felt even sadder for him
