All of these were from 36-50 trades, I just went as far back as the indicator would go and I didn’t want to do replay to get 100 trades. I hope this helps. All of these are really good , besides Eur/chf, but I encourage you guys to do your own back testing and not just follow mine or his. It will help you learn the strategy through and through. Check comments below to see my journey with this strategy.
Currently I’m up 7k on paper trading with only trading EUR/USD EUR/JPY GBP/USD GBP/JPY I usually have 10 lots, the only reason why I lot so high bc i was until recently an ftmo trader trading on a 100k account. I made that profit, again on paper trading, in 2 days with 0 loses so far so I’ll keep you guys updated. I also implemented a couple of my own rules when trading with this strategy. I will probably take the ftmo challenge again with this strategy if it pans out well, so I will definitely keep you guys updated

@@solidplay6293 i basically follow what’s in the video some of the thing I don’t trade is when the stoch is over extended in the direction I’m trying to trade (in a long position when it crosses up the blue line can’t be too far extended when I enter). I don’t trade when their is a super long candle leading into the set up (like a news candle). I also like to look at price action on the 5 and 15 min to see if it looks like it could go up.
I also don’t trade on Fridays and sundays but that’s a personal preference
The problem I have with UA-camr strategy videos is that there are dozens of best strategies on each channel

Entering a short trade:
The 50 EMA must be below the 150 EMA, indicating a downtrend.
The price action needs to fall back to the 150 EMA.
The Stochastic indicator must be in the overbought area, and the orange line must cross above the blue line.
The price action must not break above the previous key level of resistance.
Wait for the price action to cross and close below the 50 EMA for confirmation.
Entering a long trade:
The 50 EMA must be above the 150 EMA, indicating an uptrend.
The price action must pull back into the 150 EMA.
The price action must not break below the key level of support.
The Stochastic indicator must be in the oversold area, and the blue line must cross above the orange line.
Wait for the price action to cross and close above the 50 EMA for confirmation.
The video also mentions some additional tips:
The strategy works best on the London and New York sessions because the market participants are more active during this time.
The stop loss will be set slightly above the recent swing high for short trades, and slightly below the recent swing low for long trades.
The take profit target will be at one and a half times the risk.
So far I've back tested this on EUR/JPY, and GBP/USD, and I've gotta say, it really is a good strategy. I'm impressed. I added the 800 EMA as a filter, both the 50 & 150 EMAs have to be above or below the 800. If they cross up but are still below the 800 I wont take a long until they are both above the 800 and vice versa for shorts. I've found it helps keep you from getting chopped up in a ranging market.

Hi Hazery, how far back did you backtest? Haven’t tried it with this strategy yet but I did a 12 month backtest with another one of his videos and got 190% account growth. Very strong but this one appears to be mental?!?
The only thing is it is very hard to tell if this would stand up long term across multiple different markets

A simple ZigZag indicator could be added (default settings) to spot easily HH HL and LH LL
not needed, cluttering screen only, Breaks of the structure or not, easy... learn to see it with your eyes. Z-Z looks nice after fact on historical charts but can confuse live

You could use "10 in 1 different Moving Averages" instead of two indicators for EMAs, and you can use some volatility or volume indicator

I’ve been back texting this strategy and it really does have a nice win rate, however I find the market structure, and especially where the stochastic crosses a bit subjective. Often the stochastic will go over sold/bought then it will cross up, then back down but not go over sold and cross back up again before you get another closure outside the 50ema. I hope that makes sense. I really need a truly objective strategy. I have the risk management down pact. I use the risk calculator app on MT4 and never move my stop. All I need is a cut and dry strategy where I’m not in the market for long. I hate holding trades for hours lol

A lot of the time trading strategies often do better on a higher time frame, you wouldn't get as many entries but you could possibly aim for a higher R:R such as 1:2 instead of 1:1.5. I would like to see how this strategy would go on a 5 min chart.

It says it took 8 weeks in the spreadsheet and at the end of the video. That's an average of 2.5 trades per trading day.
I was thinking, most strategies use the 50 & 200 EMAs to confirm trend right? Well you say price can pull back into the 50 & 150, or even cross both. What if you swapped the 150 for the 200, but price can’t break the 200 or the setup is invalid? Same strategy and concept with the stochastic, but slightly different rules. I’ll be testing this tonight when my son goes to sleep lol

Replace the stochastic with RSI and it works even better.

Great video, very detailed and to the point video article you posted mate. On the other hand there are many ways of manipulating the market, I was able to grasp the knowledge of trading crypto assets early enough, but i was still limited due to my lack of technical understanding of how to analyze the digital market , all that changed when i encountered (Henrik Bower) strategy. more emphasis should be put into day trading as it Is less affected by the unpredictable nature of the market.

I d9nt see a lot of these setups. Reaching the 150 isn't easy, and then waiting for it to go below the 50 before you enter. I like the strategy, but what am i missing on getting enough setups?

Hopefully some alerts can be setup to remove the need to stare at 1minute candles for days on end ... Imposible to focus for 8h and not miss a trade.

trading is work, treat it as such. 2 to 8 hours a day should be enough. all these strategies are backtested at every entry so theres no way unless you have a bot will you be able to catch them all
I think the changes i made were that i added a volume indicator, and didnt follow the trend rule. I still kept the EMA rules and i yielded nearly the same results with the same R:R.

Just backtested this strategy on SPX 10x going backwards from today on the 1 min timeframe. 9 wins, 1 loss.

Bcuz that is a minor high , the swing after a minor high doesn't create lower low that means the high is not important.

It's not about the winrate. It's about winrate, risk:reward and moneymanagement. No 90% WR will make you money

Have to be on the charts all day to pick it. One minute even harder as will miss it. Especially over 8 weeks. No one is going to get that score. Need a different way to rate success. Think about how a person would really trade. Like if they were on the chart for two hours every day. How many pips.
i use a trade manager that can keep up. costed me 100 bucks tho
1M chart is to fast to do this live and manual.
Difficult to assess all conditions and enter properly risk oer trade.

I've personally back tested a few of all these strategies he posts, none work. Just clickbait
There's a video he posted with the best 3 strategies for all markets that I was backtesting and they work however it's good to alter them a bit eg you can use an atr to get a better stoploss and also target 1:2 RR instead of 1 and a half
This strat works nearly 100% of the time when done correctly, however the issue is the entries are very very rare, one per every few days. Anyway to increase the trades? Thanks

I am testing this on the NQ Mini futures and there have been plenty of opportunities at least 4 everyday. Its actually working really well on the 1 minute time frame
Please continue making good set up videos. I think you do a great job. Very importantly, rather than testing the last 100 entries is it possible to just test the New York open? Say the first three hours of the N.Y. open? That would be hugely important information if you tested it on the ES. Is that possible? Everyone in the U.S. wants to trade the ES. Thank you so much.

I like this strategy, but I would rather use it with ADX & DI instead (without the ADX line) setting at 10. Also, you could overlay 'Range Finder' and only keep the bar colors remove everything else sampling period changed to 50
