I love how well the voice acting was done in this game. Everyone was worried about mumble mode not being present, but not only is it present, no one really feels the need to use it to get the "true" experience.
What’s worse is that the original LEGO Star Wars game (and TCS) actually DID give Maul a more movie-accurate hilt. Kylo Ren has the same problem; in the LEGO TFA game, he has a fairly movie-accurate hilt, but in this game, his hilt is based on his real-life minifigure, which is less movie-accurate.
What I love about this game is that they show the hilts clipped on the characters belts. They’ve never added that little detail until now, and the way they flip and swing the lightsabers are epic! I’m gonna need to get this game pronto haha.
I really do like the detail in combat and strategy they put into the characters. Though I highly wish Palpatine and Smoke lighting was also not a combo. It would have been easier for them to be able to just use it without having to do a combo button. Either way they look stunning.

It sucks that every red lightsaber ignition sounds are incorrect except for Kylo Ren's. They should have that Sith "pshhh" lightsaber ignition, not the Jedi "shyoom" sound that played for the majority of the video.
Love the sibilant Sith saber ignition sound. That one was always my fav. Luke's green saber ignition sound from ROTJ comes in very very close second for me though.
I really would have loved it, if the Emperor (not even his Senator look) and Snoke would be able to shoot lightning with the saber throw button. So you could aim like a blaster but shoot lightning instead
But then they wouldn’t be able to block saber strikes. I love this game because the combo system allows for really good pvp lightsaber battles. What you’re talking about is kinda similar to grievous who they gave a blaster because he’s not a force user but not being able to block in combat is really bad for pvp

@@devinkinsella9122 No you can still block lightsaber strikes. Changing saber throw to blocking wouldnt change anything. Theyre seperate actions. If you block you can dodge and shoot lightning just make the character do it with one hand or put the lightsaber away like in the force unleashed
One thing I must say is that I feel that dark side/sith characters are more useful force characters since they have the ability to force choke, which lifts human characters instead of Jedi only be able to lift droid characters.

no I just like complete saga way more , old game got animation wise 4 different set of 3 hit swing chain into each other freely , mechanic wise 2 of them are perfect time swing and unblockable brings depth and PvP playability for every none back ground Jedi unic character.
Why is Chancellor Palpatine (red) the only palpable in this game to have a gold lightsaber hilt? Shouldn't the OTHER versions logically have the same hilc color as well (especially considering that he has identical hilt designs despite having more then 1, maybe more then 2 lightsabers)? Idk, it's just strange how that's the only palpatine with a gold hilt.

They really detailed the lightsaber forms that characters use. Some people say every character is same but no. Look how Vader can’t lift his arms much due to his armour. Also Dooku’s form 2 is smooth. Maul uses form 7 which is more acrobatic and agressive than Darth Rey’s form. Palpatine’s form 7 gets less energetic and fast in his older/emperor self. Even the stances of the characters are accurate but I would want a Ray Park stance from Maul instead of his classic stance which you can clearly see at the Rebels when he is about the fight old Kenobi.

I find it a bit silly and dumb when people complain they're all the same and ignore the many differences that makes them unique, is like complaining about Vergil moveset with Force edge (or mirage edge in the case of DMC5) being the same as Dante and not looking at the many differences both visually and even in some attacks

Characters that are noticeably missing (From the movies and this game): -Emperor (Episode 1 and 2) -Darth Maul (Cape, no hood) -Count Dooku (Shower) -Anakin Skywalker (Yellow eyes, no cape) -Anakin Skywalker (Yellow eyes, cape, hood) -Emperor (Clone, pre-Dyad) -Darth Plagueis (Was originally planned to be in TCS as a 100% reward, so I’m surprised he’s not a 100% reward here, plus we have characters that never appeared or were even mentioned in the movies like Mister Bones and Mama the Hutt, so…) Obviously there’s a lot more to go through than just those if we’re going beyond the main nine films, but those are the most obvious ones. Also, not a Dark aside character, but since he’s a capable fighter trained by Dooku, special mention goes to General Grievous who is also missing a caped variant. And speaking of which, Dooku is also missing his Jedi variant despite being shown in the Jedi temple, but since Ben Solo is separate from Kylo Ren, then so would Jedi Dooku.
The one bag I have with this game is that the lightsaber trail animation differs depending on the lighting, and sometimes the animation completely changes, it's like they couldn't decide
Speaking of further use I wish she should’ve been the main antagonist . Since she is a Sidious That means she’s no longer a protagonist. And she’ll stay that way until episode 10 to 12.

They need to bring back the press and hold force ability aspect, for things like force lightening force choke and add something for the Jedi aswell, some for unique characters To balance it they can add it as a force meter that you have to fill to do it for a certain amount of time aswell

I'm really happy that unlike in other games, the Skywalker saga follows established continuity that Anakin only got his red lightsaber AFTER becoming Vader, as battle damaged Anakin has his blue lightsaber rather than a red one like he had done in previous games.
In the open would I'd of thought there would be bad guys to fights. I know they turn up in side missions but having them roam around would of been good.
Same, the only thing I'm very disappointed with. Just finished TPM, bought Darth Maul, wanted to roam around Coruscant while the republic forces attack me, yet they did nothing 😕

They did well with fighting technique, you can tell that darth vader aims for more heavy impactful strikes whereas count dooku is being skilled and trying to be skilled with his fighting, and people like darth maul have there wacky ruthless messyy fight techinque
I am so mad that they didn’t make a Vision Luke (from episode 5) with Vader’s movement and Luke’s face Worst part is, it wasn’t even in the complete saga but at least I could make the character there anyway but the new game doesn’t have this feature
We need more darkside powers for the sith. We only have force crush which is basically force choke but with another name since you cant do gore in lego games and we have a pathetic version of force lightning with absolutely zero range.

Not gonna lie, I'm EXTREMELY disappointed that Count Dooku and Emperor Palpatine can't use force lighting in this game. They put it in EVERY other LEGO Star Wars game. WHY couldn't they add it in this one?!
I hope they fix Count Dooku's default Lightsaber stance. He should be pointing it forward like a gun almost OR he should hold it downwards to the side. It looks dumb how he holds it right now.

They really should’ve given Vader some different suit designs from the movies. The Revenge of The Sith suit is my favorite of his, but it doesn’t make sense to see in the original trilogy when he wasn’t wearing it.
I like the game but some downsides on episode 3 mustafar Anakin vs Obi wan i had to use C-3PO and R2-D2 for stupid things i don't mind it some levels but on mustafar na they didn't need to add that stuff i just wanted the saber duel and some episode the music don't match, some levels are than into scenes which i don't like makes the story short and u finish before u know it other than that it's Good

Palpatine has his lightning in the combos The Mandos also have their flamethrowers and trap rope in their combos I dont think grievous has spider mode though but he does have a sick spinning sabers move that you can spam unlimitedly

@@Gary_The_Man76 I play on PC so idk what it is on controllers but I just do a couple of normal attacks and then press E or the ability/force button it’ll do 2-3 different types of combos like jango using a trap rope to smackdown an enemy or Leia doing a slideshot

Well technically force choke is a thing when u lift a character with a sith character the person you lift will grasp at their throat

i loved the fencing style mixing with lighting attacks of darth tyranus, can't wait to unlock him.
I feel like a nice touch they should have done is to make unmasked Vader a light side user like how yellow eyed anakin is a dark side user.
I really love the combo system in this game it makes it feel more like a semi fighting game rather than blindly smacking someone with a saber.

If you look closely it’s grey. In the film, his legs/arms were already replaced on the operating table

We need more darkside powers for the sith. We only have force crush which is basically force choke but with another name since you cant do gore in lego games and we have a pathetic version of force lightning with absolutely zero range.
Kinda unfair that General Grievous wasn’t in this video, still a lot has been done since I played Lego StarWars on my 360
Grievous is in the villain class in this game since he can’t use the force.

I hope they fix Count Dooku's default Lightsaber stance. He should be pointing it forward like a gun almost OR he should hold it downwards to the side. It looks dumb how he holds it right now.

I like the game but some downsides on episode 3 mustafar Anakin vs Obi wan i had to use C-3PO and R2-D2 for stupid things i don't mind it some levels but on mustafar na they didn't need to add that stuff i just wanted the saber duel and some episode the music don't match, some levels are than into scenes which i don't like makes the story short and u finish before u know it other than that it's Good

Dude, why palpatine can't have the lightning, why Jango and Boba can't have more gadgets, like, flamrthrower, trap rope and the missel, why Grievous can't go into spider mode like the other lego star wars, damn dude
Palpatine has his lightning in the combos
The Mandos also have their flamethrowers and trap rope in their combos
I dont think grievous has spider mode though but he does have a sick spinning sabers move that you can spam unlimitedly

@@Gary_The_Man76 I play on PC so idk what it is on controllers but I just do a couple of normal attacks and then press E or the ability/force button it’ll do 2-3 different types of combos like jango using a trap rope to smackdown an enemy or Leia doing a slideshot
I would love to see a force unleashed DLC
