1. You used *WAAAYY* to much of the black pigment. You probably only needed one scoop. Maybe a little more but not as much as you used. The crackle paste works because of it's texture and surface tension. The amount of powder you used messed that up; you totally changed the consistency from paint-like to play-dough. The blue appearance was fine. It was just an optical effect from mixing something wet and milky with black pigment. The crackle paste dries tranparent, so after drying it would have returned to looking black. 2. For all I know crackle laquers and such also depend on the surface they are put onto. They have to be on a surface that they can stick to (obviously), but not so much that they can't contract, when they dry. I suppose that resin should be fine as a bottom layer and that the mistakes were all in diluting/thickening the paste too much. But if not it may help to find out what base layer it needs. It's all about consistency, surface tension and surface interaction with the crackling stuff. I suppose the bottle itself will also tell you? Or watch some videos of Simply Nailogical/Holo Taco, where Cristine explains her Crackle Nail Top Coat. 3. The thickness you apply the crackle stuff in also influences how it crackles. Usually: thinner layers = more, finer crackles, thicker layers = fewer, thicker/chunkier crackles.
Thanky ou so much for taking the time to write and helping me out. Apparently I also didn't use the right brand. I am looking forward to trying it again!
OMG, I loved this! Thank you for the shout out and tag ❤. For the crackle, I highly recommend the Green Stuff World Crackle Paint, it is incredible stuff for this style 😊. You will 'Crack' it! I'm 100% certain 😍🤩
You seriously made my day by commenting and helping me out with what I need to use. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch my video and helping me!!!
Daniel cooper shows how he adapted it to fit smaller rings. I remember seeing it. I just don't remember how.😊😅 Take a blade and scratch some black off the ring. 😊
Just found your videos and love them. Can’t wait to see if you figure out how to be able to spin the smaller rings. I watched Daniel’s videos for rings and they are great but I need to do some smaller rings.
It is so true. Thank you so much for your encouragement. Some, Ive been waiting for 47 years now. I know that he has been preparing things the whole time. You are blessed dear! And so am I!
I was just wondering , if you sell your resin jewelry , how much do you sell yours for ? I started making a bunch and I’m wanting to start selling them but still figuring out pricing 😊
As always, thanks for your prayers and allowing the Lord to use you here. I am going to ask him to not give you nightmares of losing a child. That is such a horrible feeling when you wake; it’s hard to shake. I’m thankful He revealed his purpose of it to you though. But man! My heart was hurting just thinking of the anxiety that had to be building in that dream before you woke. Phew! 🙏🏼
He used a crackly
Cracking paste I think
