A series of videos on getting to understand Obsidian Workflows would be much appreciated, much like your series on the Shortcuts App on iOS and iPadOS!!!
Have been using Defter since last year. An excellent Whiteboard app that organizes everything from important notes and documents, calendar diary and much more.
I'm very much looking forward to your upcoming Obsidian videos. I'm struggling with making the jump to Markdown but Obsidian looks like the ideal Evernote replacement for me before the huge price increase hits my account. This summer will be perfect timing. Yay!
Instead of Surfed, what I do is if I see something I want to look at later I add it to my reading list in Safari. Later I go through reading list and decide if I want to hold on this this bookmark. Also, in the future I may screenshot what I saw that was interesting and add it to Evernote if I am concerned the website may delete the page. Of course you could use craft or notion if spae was not a concern.
I got Muse but I can't extract pages off a a PDF so I pulled out Defter Notes! Now who wants vector pens to give us clear and visibly comprehensible notes at the highest resolution here?
Chris I a so looking forward to your Obsidian videos! You make great iPad content and I am going to try having my iPad as laptop. Thank you for all the awesome info!
I started looking into and playing around with obsidian a few months ago. Can’t wait to see your approach to it, the apple shortcuts you use with it, and any other content you come up with. It’s definitely something I’m slowly going to incorporate more into my life cause of how powerful it is. Also, have you found a way to use the synology NAS to synch the vaults to all of your devices?
I’m actually deciding whether to buy Surfed or Anybox… can’t think of how to use separately, as surfed also works as a bookmark manager. Do you use Surfed exclusively for a back up history? Have you tried using it as a boomark and reader app? Thanks
Do you use memdotai, cron, the browser company arc, super human & texts? Don’t see you demonstrating above apps! I am guessing you should have the invite by now for above apps?
I’ve been all-in with iPad Pros almost exclusively sine the first 12.9 came out, but I’ve never been able to shake my sense of battery anxiety-even though I’ve never had an iPad Pro run out on me during an average workday. For me, I think it’s due to my time-blindness from my autism (which gives me similar executive functioning issues to ADHD.) So I’m curious if that’s an issue you ever deal with when working untethered on an iPad Pro, and how you handle it?
I’m seriously concerned at what goes on in the App Store app reviewing process. You mention the scammy ChatGPT apps and there’s more. There’s tons of free VPN apps with seemingly dodgy data retention policies and Apple just lets them through. Maybe the EU and the like would come down hard on Apple if they tried to introduce more filtering of apps (btw im generally pro-EU), but there’s just so much crap in the App Store that needs rid of
Haven’t tried them both, so I can’t compare. But maybe Lire works differently, which is more suitable for some people? Apps are more than just collection of specs, there’s also ton of intangible things.
You haven’t discovered two most perfect & wonderful Apps 📱 yet. One for todo & other is for handwriting. I had given you the category. Its your Task ✅ to find it. Things 3 is now old fashion.
The most amazing thing of defter Note 📝 is that you can rotate the canvas. No other App 📱 provide this feature except prodrafts & defter Notes 📝.
Defter Notes is a game changer for me. Glad that you recommend it. Give it a try!

You maniac… I still have tabs open from 6 years ago because I just know one day I will need that tab.

Seconding the excitement of future Obsidian content!
Curious if you’ve used Matter in the past as a read-it-later service?
Love that I rediscovered your channel!! What iPad case/stand is that? I looked on your Amazon list and couldn’t find it.
Bring on the obsidian videos!!! I want to know more!!! Great vid as always!!
That was a life changing video! Thank you for sharing

I would LOVE more Obsidian content and especially beginner ones and full guides!
ChatGPT definitely need a proper iPadOS version for the app. It would be reeeeally cool

Looking forward to Obsidian videos. Only you can convert me.
So do you use Drafts, Crafts or Obsidian now?
In Malaysia, defter is called ‘daftar’. Malaysia stole many foreign languages until I don’t know which one is originally Malaysian.
😂. I feel your pain. My son took one whole day of the weekend to play that game.
Defter is pronounced more like "deaf-tear" (deaf like blind and tear like torn). :)
What is the app beside chatgpt?
Can’t find surfed in the app store.

How is $10 for Lire justified when Net Newswire is free?
Haven’t tried them both, so I can’t compare. But maybe Lire works differently, which is more suitable for some people? Apps are more than just collection of specs, there’s also ton of intangible things.
Thangs for Lire
…and of course, keyboard stuff… LOL^250
Guys what the app in chat-gpt section? Craft?
No, looks like Drafts.
