      @@eugenesedita my icing is just milk or water with powdered sugar. It’s really good with anise in the icing too

    I do believe this is my favorite cooking show of any I've ever seen. Authentic Italian recipes presented by authentic Italian Nonne. It brings me back to a time when I watched my Nonna prepare her favorite dishes. Thanks Rossella for bringing us the recipes and the memories.

    I just made these today. You can absolutely put a teaspoon of dough in your hands and roll them into a ball without hardly any mess. A spoon doesn't make for a good round cookie otherwise.

    • @cookingwithnonna
      @cookingwithnonna  6 років тому +1

      LostInMySpace yes, on the website and in my book I updated and added the rolling method. However, the cookies are just as good when they’re dropped with spoons. It’s simply a matter of preference

    Can you use a small cookie scoop to transfer the dough to the baking sheet?

  • @pmorales12345
    @pmorales12345 3 роки тому

    Hello! To make this cookie, do you have to drain the ricotta? Or do you use it as is straight out of the container?

      PeaceLove Mick nonsalted is usually used for baking. I believe the recipe on the site says unsalted.
