- Since going to the barber is currently not an option for most of us, what better time is there to try to learn how to give a fade haircut? Professional barber Mark Maciver called brothers Daddy and Ben Ramazani to attempt to teach them how to do a perfect fade.

"I'm excited that you're black" I felt this LMAO
@@kettleking5345 It's not viewed as racist bc historically, white barbers, hair stylists, make up artists, etc have not learned or valued the best ways to service people of color. Where as poc have to learn to service all races if they want to stay in business. It's not to say that a white barber could not do a great job, but the barber being black puts the customer at ease bc of the improved chances their hair texture and needs will be understood and valued.
At camp as a kid I had a white kid ask me, sincerely, what I called my hair. As in: He thought I had a different name for the follicles on my head, not the style, bc I was black. White people call it hair, black ppl must call it something else. That's an extreme example but the disconnect is out there. A current example is the discussion in Hollywood about how lighting techs never learn how to properly light darker skin tones and what a difference it makes when there are techs and make up artists behind the camera that know how to do it properly.
The guy in the video doesn't DISLIKE white people, he's just relieved to be paired with someone he anticipates will "get" him for lack of a better term.
Pointless Hole LMAO did you just say evidently they don’t like white people? clearly you don’t understand the term “evidently”...? there’s no where in the video where they stated anything about not liking white people. as stated by the commenter above, historically-white barbers have little to no practice in servicing black people.
@@kettleking5345 idiot
roblox is life ok
Pointless Hole na, it’s just stereotypically black barbers are better for cutting black peoples hair than white barbers are

The hardest part is getting the fade right. During the pandemic I tried to fade my beard into my hair but the pros make it look so easy. #leaveittothepros
You did legit job especially for a first time and video tutorial. #stayfaded #staysafe

Spanish Barbers are really the 🐐
I go to his barber shop. he really cuts his own hair
Didn't comb the hair out with a pick before the cut. This is a must.
he dirty for this lol, they need to kill this series already
Mark is a good teacher.
Ramazani is a cool name. Reminds me of ramadan
After watching this am heading to the mall and tryna book a vacant store
Where's the fade? I see a line.
It's his first time so I mean I wouldn't be surprised if there was a harsh line. My first time did too. I was too scared of adjusting the lever because I didn't wanna set my line too high. But he did a pretty solid job for his first time. And besides quarantine is the best time to really learn about yourself (Plus hair) so it's no worries. :) Hair grows back
Ambidextr0us tips on doing the flick technique ?
after watching this i’m about to just cut hair
🙏🏽😂
what makes a good fade or a bad fade its just having a 0.5 guard, that would remove the line and blend the cut
I finally learned how to cut my own hair I'll never go back to tje barbershop again plus I never push my hairline back always crispy!
Should’ve used an actual brush instead of a comb
Now i am a family barber
He gave him the cut Wesley sniped had on demolition man

360 Yeezy tutorial would’ve worked
Guy on the right looks like DeRozan in the thumbnail

Any1 else watching this while waiting to get on the barber chair or just me ?
Cutting hair ain’t for everbody , cant explain but u gotta have that certain movement in your hands sort of relaxed , just like everbody can’t draw, dance , cook,
Shut up
😂😂😂 he fukd his hair up! LOL
Good for a first timer, just need to be more comfortable and hold the blade more flat and scoop, and use the corners to blend and detail. Balding was a bit spotty but that's again just holding the blade flat at cutting with confidence, don't be afraid of cutting someone up or thinking about it hurting, and use a fade brush!
My wife has been offering to give me a fade but, I’ve refused thus far. Maybe I’ll show this to her lol.
Mine too. I bought a some equipment for her to start
L.R wow you made the move lol. Good luck bud!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂yoooo violated 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
What is that lever?
Saman Miran to open up or to close the blade, so it shaves more or less hair off. / open blade shaves less hair of because of the distance between the teeths of the blade.
Yurrrrrrrrrr
Yerrrrr!!!!
I messed up my hairline trying line myself up.
Bro took number 1 and number 2 multiple times on his brother 😂
Lmao first time o cut my hair was this time in life came out decent

Only real ones know what that is chilibowl
Man I feel bad for you that’s really bad
I'm excited your black cause I was nervous you were going to be white is what he really wanted to say.
Understandably so.
Richie R1ch Racist aswell
Behar ThaG not racist. Generally, black barbers are better than white barbers for all races, whereas white barbers tend to only be good for white ppl
@@beharthag4487 I too thought it was racist at first but now I realise what he meant by saying that, it is because that black barbers tend to be better with black hair while white barbers are usually better with white hair.
Yeah thats not racist. ask any black dude, they will prefer a black barber just cause the average consistency of black hair is the most difficult to pull off solid haircuts on, I also heard asian hair is super difficult. Haircuts turn out good if the client and barber have the same ethnicity because the barber is familiar with your kind of hair.
Music too loud
I’m a white barber in a huge black community. I receive a lot of hate because I’m white and They think I can’t cut black hair. But I’ve developed a good amount of clients that are black and respect me. What I’m saying skin color has nothing to do with cutting hair if your a good barber.
It's not necessarily about the colour of the barber's skin but rather the fact that most white barbers don't have much experience handling black people's hair texture and since you say you are a barber yourself you should know how thick our hair typically is. I wouldn't let take my chances on a white barber until I see him cutting black hair... it's really not about the skin colour, it's about the confidence you have in your barber before they even start doing your hair
Sorry bro but spend another 14 days quarantined you going to need it to avoid future roast.
tell bro dont do that again
Effing 18 sec nonskipabble ad
I wanna hate but Everyone has to learn,2/10 on the cut
LMAO!
I love being black. That’s all
hey daddy 👁💋👁
So his brother calls him Daddy..
Are y’all Tanzanian? That last name, Ramazani....

As a person who cuts hair, it’s annoying to see others learning 😭😂
Nar u were done wrong son
First of all he still got that bull line all around his head bad fade sorry 😂
