I like that shinobi is stronger now, but it has been annoying getting punished after reacting to his kick, just like with BP's bash. I've been mostly using shugoki lately and if they spam the kick I can't catch them when they do the backflip if I use headbutt or zone. I just have to continuously dodge the bashes or parry the heavy for a weak punish, which isn't very fun or engaging.

Than stop dodging on reaction shinobi is punishable if you guess right. Even with a gb, unlike most bashes even tho bashes should be gb punishable if dodged on guess.
@@y0rrzu971 If I try to guard break after dodging the kick with shugoki I headbutt, or the guard break is too late and they are starting the front roll. I'm sure I have to just keep trying to find some timing that works. I'm not losing every fight against them tho, they are just annoying to fight

Yeah I rarely get salty on games so much to insult people, also because most times if I lose it’s just my fault.
Also, I know that I can be a really good “gamer” in FH skill-wise, but sadly there are a few issues I encounter:
1) My skill is never the same day by day. I can be extremely good (in ranked duels I got to “master” rank last two seasons, and managed to keep my rank as well) some days, and other days capable of being such an immensely trash noob xD. I don’t know, maybe I should do some academy with some competitive players, do some more warm ups (training more with mouse and key, it’s three months I use em) in training mode before joining online… Still, Idk, even after 480 reps I still have huge skill swings 😂.
2) I get so damn nervous whenever I fight against content creators! Had some good fights with Havok, mr Fudged Truffle here, my man mGoldie and BarakYeet but damn I’m sure that my skill level drops because I get nervous against them 😂.
For that berserker that was basically afk while on guard mode.

The shinobi mirrors were entertaining! However, it’s safe to say that Shinobi is super powerful & counters much of the For Honor cast. Maybe Kyoshin would be a good counter due to his quick undodgable finisher lights, but even with that the match up would require great reads. The hero can barely even counter itself. I wonder how/why Ubisoft thought that this was a good idea.
Everyone can dodge and gb... he's vulnerable to that if he's backflipping everything. Just another 50/50 bash undodgeable mixup imo

idk if you know 2 things but when you do a zone you can do a back flip after the first rotation and when you do a deflect you can go into sickle rain or faint it to a gb

Can someone help me, for some reason my sickle throw won't work. I hold down heavy on the controller but it throws a heavy, switched to keyboard and mouse but the problem is still the same...
Another thing is if your killed when doing your zone attack sometimes a shinobi will die in a weird position it’s hilarious

For anyone trying to get better or pick up Shinobi do you have any advice?
I like the new adjustments, but some things need to be changed. For example the 24 +15 damage. Confirmed bash deflect, while nuxias is 30 something that's blockable.
A 40 damage confirmed deflect seems just a taaaaad bit excessive.
Only the first 24 damage is confirmed. I think that is too high admittedly, but the extra 15 from the kick can be dodged.

Shinobi has always been my favorite. And dodge attacks have always been my most hated feature. And shinobi is literally the anti dodge attack. Dodge attacking me as shinobi is tantamount to suicide. And I love every single second.

Beautiful calling the zone for the deflect comeback. Alot of people hate the new shinobi but honestly I think he just needs a stamina nerf. Maybe make his heavy speed a little slower. I'm an orochi main but my good friend has been a shinobi main for a long time and the re work makes it so he can actually play more competitively. Shinobi is really hard to fight with Orochi when it used to be the opposite.

@@Jayco2855 as long as you don't throw neutral dodgeattacks or lights even though they got parried like 4 times in a row you should be fine, most importantly, Nova won't judge skill the only FH youtuber who does that is Kenzo, havok and freeze, as long as you aren't toxic or just straight up dumb no one will judge you, except maybe the comments or kenzo, havok and freeze

its just the stam. people dont like playing against characters with enough stam to put in 10 seconds of offense before stopping to recover. i can think of a couple characters who got nerfed recently with tons of stam

After all this time playing highlander, seeing a Conq player suffer the way I do in the new matchup is relieving.
Also, best way to beat shinobi is to beat the player. The old don’t beat the wave beat the surfer.

I mean if they just make it so he doesn't regen stamina on backflip and make it so he can't backflip off flip kick it will be perfect. But yeah I really fear a ubisoft over compensating nerf coming.

@@marzialalfonzocanada888 everybody highlights that he is gb vulnerable on missed bash but fails to highlight that he also has a blue attack that he can do to punish dodges just like gryphon. I have no other issues dealing with shinobi until they bring out that backflip.
