Yes, this is an excellent drill to get me to start to square the club at impact -- one of my many things to work. This will help and can do the muscle memory at home before the range, don't need to hit a ball to do. Thank You!
Sadly I am severely restricted in my movement and unable to play. Nonetheless I haven’t lost the love for this game.I watch your videos and I only wish that could have been able to play again because i know that your methodology and your precise explanations would have taken my game to a new level. Thank you Andrew because I am confident that you have helped many golfers and will continue to do so.
Mark, I’m sorry to hear about your limitations. I’ve coached golfers with MS, as well as golfers who have had debilitating strokes and can’t walk. In my experience - If you have use of your wrists and arms and can stand you can swing!! I only wish that my videos could help you to Mark! You clearly love the game and my hope is that you can swing - even if it’s 10 minutes at the driving range. I’ll gladly hop on a live call with you (N/C) if that’s what it takes! Let’s get after it! Best, Coach A. ⛳️🏌️♂️🙏🏻
Great content again. I can succeed most times with this approach on a flat surface but I play on a course with many slopes so would be good if you could show how to do this on slopes. Thanks.
Part of my Saturday morning ritual coffee and a video. Thanks Andrew. I we on the drills daily at home with foam balls. I see and feel huge improvements already. It’s Reggie btw. Great video
Andrew: watching the LPGA tourney from Hawaii tonight, and the camera was on the current leader, A Lim Kim (who was the 2020 women's US Open champion). Her practice swings were L to L, back heel definitely down slinging the club. Then, she did a few more backswings, but this time turning and stopping at the top -- and then lowering her arms 3-4 times. It's like she watched your video from last week re the back heel, as well as several of your others re the elevator arms. Not too bad of a reference to your teaching -- Tom in Dallas
That’s awesome! Much easier in so many respects to relate to the women pros. Wonderful rhythm, great sequencing and somewhat relatable speeds!! Best, A. ⛳️🏌️♂️🙏🏻
Andrew- another good informative video - your info has helped me tremendously- just need to keep my back to the target- still hitting a “spinner “ occasionally- especially w my Driver
By keeping your upper body feeling like it’s staying back rather than spinning - You’ll feel like your arms are expanding further right past the ball rather than contracting left! A. ⛳️🏌️♂️🙏🏻
Especially with the driver! Most golfers spin back to the ball leaving their arms and club at the start line. If you’re wide open and try to slam it shut at the ball you’ll always be inconsistent. Best, A. ⛳️🏌️♂️🙏🏻
Stall tension phase!! You’re getting too open too soon with your upper body’s. Remember your arms follow the path of the shoulders. Keep your upper body back and allow your arms to de elevate rather than spinning. Best, A. ⛳️🏌️♂️🙏🏻⬇️ ua-cam.com/video/3qJbL-8Fl1U/v-deo.htmlsi=X6ya87lXQsVX8RkL

Great explanation of the golf swing. I've learned a ton watching you!

Awesome video, question. Where do you get that big golf club you used? I'm trying to get in , but can't find it

Do you swing out to the right when doing the pump drill?

Is this the same for the driver?

Coach, I have no issue closing the face, I'm hitting pull draws, how do I get the path further right?
