The chord progression during the verses reminds me of Teenage Dream. Also, Sia's demo submissions for this album remind me of Bonnie Mckee's for Femme Fatale in that they both seemed to have understood the albums themes than other writers.
We are here to sift through the possible tracks, the so-called unrealized ones, but I believe that I will never be able to console myself with Britney's farewell to music. I hope it's a move to let the silence fall and then pop the bomb with surprise albums😢
It’s sad this song never got used, but it had a lot of competition. For Kelly Clarkson, Invincible and Let Your Tears Fall, and for Britney Spears, Perfume, Passenger, and Brightest Morning Star were all better choices. Still, this could’ve been on This is Acting Deluxe.
