The Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25:14-30) NKJV
14 “For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. 15 And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. 16 Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. 17 And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. 18 But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money. 19 After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them.
20 “So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ 21 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ 22 He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’ 23 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
24 “Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25 And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’
26 “But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. 27 So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. 28 So take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents.
29 ‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. 30 And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

When I wake up every day, I review my to-do list that I finished working on 7 hours before waking up , with an emphasis on improving upon the previous day.
Computer games didn't interest me much, but I spent an unhealthy time playing pool as a youth.
My God is real to me.
I wish that I was less self-aware enough to turn my brain off without dope and/or booze. Quit that stuff a long time ago, tho.
Guess that I'm stuck in a self-awareness rut.

I absolutely hate small talk. It's like some people are incapable of any in depth thought. The npc analogy is spot on. Quantum entanglement is one of them things which may never be figured out because man like things nice and tidy and easily explained. Or perhaps it is part of string theory. Einstein could not figure it out along with my boy Stephen. I probably will not live long enough to see someone break the code along with the fermy (Drake) equation. Food for thought is it is all in the blind idiot gods mind......
You know...I see small talk as something we do with children from birth until they gain a better grasp on things through language. It seems to me that the purpose of small talk amongst adults is so that people who hate each other can feign civility in public, which lowers the probability of a fancy dress party devolving into a white trash family picnic brawl. An open bar always ups the ante.
As for in depth conversation, I'm a deep thinker and I speak from my heart regarding personal matters. I am not afraid to venture into weeds or rabbit holes, and I don't let the nay sayers' saying nay get in my way at all.
From my perspective people have become more and more uncomfortable with my genuine expressions, and even when the topic is more sophisticated or complex, I recognize an underlying homogenization of higher education at play. This has gotten to the point where people seem to speak in the quotes of dead authors and icons of brilliance among various fields of study. The curiosity and passion for knowledge that drives authentic ingenuity seems all but lost on our culture, and now industry seems infested by the mass production of copycats, under different schools of thought, but all within the general realm of business. It's all about stealing patents and conglom-onopolies screwing over the inventors and real thinkers to exploit their brilliance and steal their work.
I think there's so much more to the subjects you mention, and any new discoveries thereof have been hindered by a self policing ideology to stay on the plantation. I see most lauded public figures heading science departments as total frauds whose mask is a bowtie and a pretentious award or twenty. Papers on new discoveries get returned to sender unopened. These men won't even lay eyes on the title page, let alone peer review it. It is disgusting.
I will say this: these real world NPCs are programed to attack any real show of human vulnerability, and they gangstalk anyone who dares to explore the world with wonder and question, in any intelligent way. It really blows my mind to see how easily corrupted so many "accomplished" minds of academia have shown to be, and this concerns me for our country's place on the cutting edges of research and devlopment. Those gates won't hold for forever, nor should they. I hope we live at least long enough to see the snobby, smarmy, arrogant imposters fall on their squinty faces with their pants down in the full light of day, so that the remarkable cleverness of the human spirit can be, once again, empowered amongst the common people. I would like to see capable, critical thinking return to the masses, who currently appear to surrender their say to those who brandish a twisted mimicry of intellect as they crush the modern world under the weight of their self declared expertise.
If you think about it, maybe small talk is appropriate for the expert class, because they indeed behave like small children. Thanks for inspiring my thought process and for entertaining my wordiness. Cheers!
