I got one a couple of weeks ago and it's pretty much flawless. Good quality, nice joints, and looks great. I've only bought official BW MPs up until this guy, but I never cared much about Tigatron. Still wanted to fill the spot on the team though, so this was a more than solid purchase. Glad I saved myself $140.
how much did this tigatron knock off cost?
I remember reading a rumor that these might not be true KO's. I think the reasoning was because they came out so fast after the official. More that they are official factory line QC rejects. Perhaps it was a bad machine setting or something and a whole batch came out with that pin or paint issue. Instead of Takara dealing with upset fans and returns they just sold them off cheap to the 3rd party sellers. Seems like a plausible theory. Thanks for the Vid
Makes sense; the same thing happened with MP45 (Bumblebee 2.0) & MP46 (Blackarachnia)...those came out crazy fast. Only thing is that those were packed in a brown box, much like the KOs of MP43 & MP44. This...gets an actual box with some artwork on it, and Hound went ol' skool with a KO'd Takara box.

Same thing happened with Mp36 and his KOs. Might have been another CAD leak. Who knows? I dont see anything in this review that would suggest this is a reject.

I finally transformed the one I got a few months back. I have no complaints on the tabbing in of everything in altmode on this one, unlike Barneytron.

I hope Takara makes a V2 of MP Cheetor that’s based on MP Tigertron’s engineering!! (with a transforming Cheetah chest instead of a faux one) *They should retool & downscale MP Tigertron into MP Cheetor V2!!
A KO with all those panels and they still fit together quite well compared to Tactics Waistcoat. Well done.
And it looks like it fits together better than that MP43 BW Megatron KO by Toys Mage.

man i just got mine and the left foot is made from faulty parts so it cant stand flat. and the arms have so many plastic spurs that the pieces arent flush, so the forearms have gaps in them. i'm not impressed. also mine has super floppy knees even after adjusting it some which only improved it a bit.

Would you say this Jungle Warrior is close undistinguishable from the actual MP Tigatron ? They look very similar with high QC on this knock off it seems. Makes me think I could get it too while the MP is very expensive

I couldn't particularly tell. Are the eyes in robot mode clear giving that 'Dead' look or are they painted red?

I didn't get a missle pod with mine, the shoulders are a bit too tight, hands are very tight and the gun barrel wont rotate back in the casing but apart from that it's a great figure

At first glance, he doesn't look like a KO. There are two things that give it away when you look at it more carefully. With that said, he looks great for a KO. I'm considering getting one to display in beast mode next to my authentic copy.

I'm so scared I'm going yo break him. Even if I only payed about £65 for him, I still don't want to break it. I think I'll display him in robot mode and likely never transform him

This seems pretty cool!! I think that I'll have to get my mitts on it...if it doesn't disappear super fast like the Blackarachnia & Bumblebee 2.0 KOs did.
Third parties keep winning. The fixed tigertrons loose legs that was on the official one even.
two things actually. this isnt a 3rd party, its a direct KO of an official. also, no.. my copy has super loose knees/legs sadly 😞

i absolutely HATE faux chests. ESPECIALLY on masterpiece figures. theres no excuse in my mind that a masterpiece has to use fakepieces.
I'm not sure what the issue is. Cheetor's figure is based on the CGI model which has a faux cheetah head as his chest when he's in robot mode.
@@QuantaSolace i never watched the original cartoon, but i would imagine his chest would have worked the same way as every other transformer, where the front of the alt mode becomes the chest. but i do know the cartoon didnt have transformation limitations, they could make the head the chest even if it seemed impossible. and it could form to the right shape without explanation. but sometimes, if it really is impossible for the figure, i can overlook it
