Figure isn't without it's flaws, but the greatest trick Takara pulled off with this guy was making people think it was mostly just an upscale of Cheetor, when in reality, they went to some very interesting lengths with the engineering to pull off that illusion. The end result might LOOK like Cheetor, but the parts and engineering are a huge departure from Cheetor's.
That’s what I thought, that they went with Tigatron as the next character because they just needed to upscale the Cheetor mold and give it a new head, but I’m happy to see they used the additional size of this character to create a new mold with much better engineering

Airazor would have to tie for most difficult to engineer, right up there with Terrasaur. So much of both their Beast Modes just literally disappear into the void thanks to cutting edge 90's cgi.
When i see cartoon , i think Cheetor will be her boyfriend . BUT NO ! Need give her stupid doggy-bot , like says Waspinator , Silverbot :-( Personally i hate this bot because he : first - bad pilot , second bad shooter and finally he trying be like Optimus analog . Admittedly neither did I, though that was probably due to having not been born yet (though did still see bits as a baby before growing up on RiD and then G1 so it is still pretty damn formative)
I’m pleasantly surprised Tigatron isn’t just a heavy remold of Cheetor. I honestly thought he would’ve shared the same transformation with just a bit more bulk for the beast mode but they REALLY changed his engineering to make him incredibly different but still keep the super similar look

While we don't have any images to confirm it, we did get a list of Kingdom releases that leaked a few months back. I heard about it on one of the other Transformers UA-cam channels. It included a voyager class Tigatron. In fact, the leak indicates we're getting the entire season 1 Maximal lineup. The only Predacons missing were Tarantulas, Terrorsaur, and maybe Inferno. With G1 being mixed in, it's hard to tell from a list If we're getting a voyager class Beast Wars Inferno or a repaint/remold of Earthrise Grapple for G1 Inferno.
Tigatron was one of many reasons why i enjoyed Beast Wars so much! Where the rest of the Maximals and Predacons mostly use their beast modes to cover themselves from the Energon, this wise white feline uses both modes equally, because he feels he is both beast and bot. So yeah, i'm really glad that they did my job such justice in terms of appearance and posability in both forms, even with those big creepy eyes in his chest. O_O
Tigertron is 1 of the coolest characters in "Transformers: Beast Wars" I'm glad Takara made a Masterpiece figure of him and exactly as in "Beast Wars" cartoon! By the way the orange eyes are also use to make Tigertron's beast mode eyes glow at night just like in the show.
I love how you use the Bionicle Skrall character as sort of a mascot for the intros I know it had a different name from the other skinnier Skrall but i don't remember it honestly xD

It’s Finally Here I Patiently Waited And As For The Megatron Head I Believe It’s Actually Able To Switch it With The Light Up Head I Saw It On Other Reviews
So I got the 4th party version of this release that just came out. It was available through ShowStore Z. I had it pre-ordered, but it released shortly after pre-order came out and amazingly enough coming from China, it only took 8 days to get here. It shipped on Jan. 8th and arrived today (16th). I think I paid like $5 / $10 for the upgraded shipping option. Anyways, this version is pretty much flawless, I have no paint issues or any noticeable issues of any kind. Both striping and metallic pain is perfect. I will say that the joints are extra tight, so moving some of the smaller pin joints, you have to be careful. The fingers are especially tight, but I've had no breaks and for me I prefer tighter joints, because they will loosen over time due to usage.
Good looking figure overall. The backpack hangs out a bit more than the CGI model did, but it's not bad. Only real complain is the arm kibble. Would have been nice if it could have compressed a bit more, because it's quite large. Could have had a hinge that split the main section so it could fold in on itself a bit more.
Ooooh, I didn't realize there was a lock for the back legs. I was wondering why mine was being a pain. I hope I didn't break it earlier. 😆 I ended up ordering one again when BBTS had him back in stock.
Can't believe it took me this long to realize that the green eye in the Beast Wars Logo is Tigatron's eye. I was half expecting this to be an upscaled version of Cheetor but it's practically a new mold.. I grew up with Beast Wars so I'm all in for the BW MP line. Sacrifices have to be made for the benefit of robot or beast mode so I'm okay with that. Maybe some 3P company can design some more realistic looking Tiger cankles.

There was a Tigerhawk toy released back in 1999 in the Transmetal 2 portion of the original Beast Wars toyline made to rival Megatron's dragon form. A third party company (Jiang Xing) is curently working on all of the Transmetal 2's for the Masterpiece line. While these aren't official figures, they are intended by those companies to scale well with the Masterpiece figures. They made a season 3 dragon Megatron before and their current figure that they started working on was Tigerhawk. No official images have been released of the Tigerhawk as far as I'm aware, but knowing how long it took them to make sure they perfected the design of their Megatron before revealing anything, it'll only be a matter of time until they release images of the prototype (that's if the pandemic hasn't slowed down production). In the mean time, I highly recommend checking out their dragon Megatron for quality and accuracy to help you decide whichever you like best :)
Emgo, there's a ratcheted abb crunch you can use by lifting the upper body at the waist first slightly, just like the masterpiece beast wars dinobot, except ratcheted :D

The original toys were the exact same mold just with different colours to make them slightly different animals. Fun fact: The BW toy 'Wolfang' was supposed to have the roll that Tigatron played in the cartoon, however animators found it both easier and cheaper to simply modify the pre-existing Cheetor robot model to save on budget costs instead of creating an all new model, so they went with Tigatron instead. All of the season 1 characters had 3 CGI models each (One for robot mode, one for beast mode and the last was one they could mess around with for the transformations) that's why it was just eaiser to upscale and edit Cheetor's model. That's also the main reason they look similar in the show. The toys on the other hand were both the same mold as I said before.

When Tigatron gets released for Kingdom I will definitely have Robot mode Airazor sitting on his back while he is in beast mode if possible.
