The majority of my animations are made entirely using a mouse and this pretty much sums up how it's done. What I found useful is how easily you can edit the gradient. I can't believe I've been going this long and had no idea that tool was there!
I think this is the best tutorial ever made about how to draw a character or anything on Animate without having tablet and pen. I wish Wacom didn't see this tutorial. 😁 I am extremely happy to find this tutorial just at the beginning of learning animation in An. Thanks bro...God bless...
You are amazing Matt. This is so helpful. UA-cam is so good because of creators like you. I hope that you have an excellent weekend. Now, its time to get sculpting... Thanks, Jasper
Loove these tutorials, so helpful. Is there an Animate equivalent to using the “Curvature Tool” in Illustrator to create shapes? Digitizing vertex by vertex? I’m currently using illustrator to create my character layers and importing those layers to animate… just because I love the ease of use with the curvature tool…
One years ago i dont have graphics tablet and i was drawing to paper. Then i was picturing it and import to adobe animate. Finally i was making my shape with line tool. I was "n" king you know.
With the eyes, I followed the instruction to the T, and when I do the pupils, it doesn't create 2 of them? The eyes themselves are joined together and can be moved in unison, when i double click and go to make the pupils, it only makes one instead of two? Any ideas?
I have a question, I've been working on an experimental for 2 weeks and this morning it says there is an error code and I can't open the file anymore, any solutions? thanks
i draw with the mouse because i cant afford a graphic tablet its no easy but i make good content and i feel like iam growing everyday mayb its because ive got a skill to drawing but hey if you want something just do it with what you got.. i dont advice it but some things are just better to try

Glad you found something new! I've always loved your crisp linework!
@@TipTut Indeed. I've always struggled to find a brush size to smoothing ratio that I liked.
Thanks Again for sharing👍
Good breakup for building a character using native shapes..The control over shapes for animation is much better.
You're welcome 😊 You're definitely right, you get great control with Adobe Animate native shapes!
I have a feeling my comment on the animate tutorial inspired you to make this video
It was actually someone on a livestream, but its good to know you found it useful!

Been wanting to get into animation for fun but can't draw at all so this is clutch.

Also, whenever you rotate, i cannot find that keybind for the life of me. I have searched google and the help forums.
Anyone have any clue?

You can just use the line tool, bend and connect it.

Whatever you did on the eyes to create 2 pupils at once was not clear. I can't seem to repeat that.

Thanks man!
However, it is better to get a pen tablet.
If you prefer working that way, yeah!
I am so lost , I don't know how to start I don't have a tablet
That's what this video is for.
@@TipTut yes,, thank you for your reply
How to draw with a mouse in 2 steps:
1: Don't
2: Get a drawing tablet
Haha that's certainly an option!
But this is vector art
Do you have a question?
1:30 -- What the hell
What about the pen tool?
