A movie's quality needs to be measured by how many times Babu says "ohoho!"
Now, they DEFINITELY need to watch Spielberg's Lincoln to compare the fictional version to the historical one!
That was my first thought. Same with how they need to see Downfall (2004) before they see Inglorious Bastards (2009). Both movies are about the death of Hitler, but one is historically accurate and the other is complete nonsense (but an excellent movie).
Yeah, would have been cool for them to see it first, but this movie is really fun so that’s important. I’m glad he pointed out that he’s a real person but that this is a fantasy story based around him.
@@TrazynnShowing them Inglourious Basterds is pointless. Only the English dialogue is dubbed in Hindi. All German, French and Italian dialogue is as it is, and I don't think they'll have them read Hindi subtitles for that.

Jesus of Nazareth movie back in the day starring Robert Powell was a great collection of movies.
They should watch some old classics too like “Ben hur” .
Then for an action movie try “the running man” with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
“Total recall” was another good movie with him.

I’m a big movie buff watcher. I’ve watched so many films over the years I can run a list of movies that would take weeks to write out lol
I have been recommending Ben-Hur for a long time along with other old classics like Seven Samurai, Lawrence of Arabia etc. Either the producers are not aware of these classics or they simply ignore them. There are great classic movies from India itself such as the movies of Satyajit Ray but they are being ignored by this channel.
It would be interesting to see how they react to good cinema.

But there are some true masterpieces, or maybe they have seen some , babu probably has seen the oldies perhaps

it's an entertaining movie for sure but not the right way to introduce them about real historical figure.
They've seen Abraham Lincoln facts and historical videos on their main channel, common man show. Notice how both babu and sarru said "American rashtrapati" meaning they recognise him as a political figure

Okay, @React20, the entire point of this movie was, it was done in the newer 3-D!!! You didn't show them this with the grey glasses that make it 3-D!!! The movie wasn't intended to be great as it was. It needed the 3-D!!! Fun fact for the watchers, Abe is my 6th cousin, 6 times removed, meaning one of my 4-greats grandmothers was his 6th cousin. Obviously, they didn't know each other, as nobody knows their 6th cousins! Still, it is cool, being related to famous people, and knowing exactly how. Abe and I share a set of what are my 11-greats or so grandparents, Obadiah Holmes, and Katheryn Hyde. They had two daughters, one who became my ancestress, the other became Abe's. I am also about 10th cousin to Cyndi Crawford, and either 7th or 8th cousin, 1 time removed, from Bruce Springsteen. And Europeans wonder why Americans care about our family trees....
The speech Abe gave at the end was real. They didn't show what happened to him afterwards. He went to see a play with his wife, Mary, and some entire asshole blew his face away from his skull from behind, as they sat watching the play. Abe wasn't as decent and pure as shown here. He didn't really believe African descended people were truly equal to Europeans. But he didn't deserve to be murdered like that, his wife, holding his dead body, screaming in horror. That really happened. Bigots in America want to murder anyone who does not stand with bias and bigotry. They do not want you, my South Asian brothers, to be among us. They call you our enemies.

I know that I have more specific tastes in cinema than a large majority of people (Bergman, Tarkovsky, Kurosawa, Cassavetes etc...) but I also like more popular cinema and I have already suggested lots of films of high quality and which were box office successes. Instead, we see too many of these kinds of bad films on this channel, which wastes our friends' time, and us too, sorry.

Completely unrelated but I feel like these guys would love Stargate. The show is too much of a time commitment for the channel but I think they'd really enjoy the movie
Stargate has so many filler episodes. Even Stargate Universe, which I loved most ended up having more filler than I remembered. TV was a different thing back then.

Never seen this movie, but this movie seemed pretty awesome. Fight choreography was really good and sort of liked the plot and build up to everything.
May i suggest putting up a poll each week of which movies/shows to watch next and let the audience decide or at least give input into decisions.

Was this movie choice crazy or genius?! My first thought about this was that they might possibly need more knowledge about both Lincoln and the vampire mythos to fully appreciate this movie. But the reaction went astonishingly well. Shame on me for underestimating the guys.
At this point, a reaction to OverSimplified's The American Civil War might really be worth a try...
