- Jaime Munguia will face off against John Ryder on the 27th January at Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Munguia is currently returning after his win against Sergiy Derevyanchenko, while Ryder is coming off of a loss against Canelo Alvarez.

Fantastic fight im a big fan of both, ryder is old school tough as nails and im very happy to see him get the respect he deserves. But mungia is too young fresh and fit, i think mungia stoppage.

Mungia needs to be more active as a fighter if he is going to ever challenege for a title and have a chance. He is my favorite untitled fighter but lacks championship experience IMO. Ryder is good step in the right direction.
he was a champion and already faced some proven tought fighters in Liam Smith or Deveryanchenko, if he beats solid B lvl fighter Ryder he is more than ready for everything

That speed and power with the left hook will have him on his knees by round 8 and that's why he fights Ryder instead

Experience against top level opposition and not winning any of those means nothing. Munguia will be too strong for Ryder. You will see Ryder get cracked early he won’t be able to deal with the pressure for as long as munguia fights on the outside those big bombs will rain heavy dismantling the britts defenses and ending him early yes I believe by the 8th it will be over for Ryder and his dreams of becoming champ at 168.
