I have a husky compressor 8 gallon 150 psi at 3.7cfm. I always try to be mad patiently 😅 but mad this video gives me more motivation to keep going 💯💪🔥🔥🔥 as for moisture in the air would you recomend 2 air filters to be safe? One by compressor and one on spray gun?
Im new to painting but from what ive learned... small compressors create more moisture due to the constant running. It generates heat and the cooling factor of uncompressing the air creates moisture... its just a constant cycle of that
Question for you buddy: were you using a HVLP or LVLP spray gun when using this compressor? I'm considering the buying the same one! Maybe even the larger white one!
@@speedokoterefinishnetwork4937 have you considered ,for your mobile unit only, using LVLP guns? I did and it was a game changer! My older oil filled compressor is now contaminating the air so I need to up grade! Looks like the vevor is my next purchase!
HVLP guns are typically rated for 14 CFM at the gun (important as there are loses from tank to gun) and above, that’s the High Volume part of HVLP. With a smaller compressor you absolutely need to match the gun CFM requirement to the compressor output, at the gun. Try an LVLP gun, they’re not expensive, I’d be fascinated to see if your finish is better. Try high flow connectors and a higher I.D. Line too. Also, keep your water/oil separator some distance from the compressor and if possible after a u-bend in the line. This acts like a water trap and allows time for the air to cool and lose moisture before arriving at the gun. 🤞
I would like to know if you used a pressure regulator on yr spray gun and a filter for the water. I use a 27 gallon one and was total use less kept losing air quickly. How can a 6 gallon do that
This reminds me that next time I'm just going to run to HF to get a cheap tool to check Vevor first. Seems like they have slightly better prices for similar or better tools. Lets go buy (tools)! #LGB
