I'm honestly surprised with such a high quality big money build you guys didn't just go with the Wiggins/vanjen style clamps. Silicon coupler joiners always are the failure point for boosted cars. I'm running 30 psi making 750whp and never had a single issue with losing boost running those style clamps I HIGHLY SUGGEST switching to them and never going back because it sucks to lose over such a simple thing and I know you would have went deep into the battles and probably won tbh. Nevertheless the editing/ music was on point this vid. Keep up the good work REET boyz.

Wiggins style clamps aren't a great option for a drift car. If there's a front end collision, which is common, it's good to have the silicone there to break and be easily replaced. We haven't had any issues previously with the standard clamps like we used on the wagon, there is a few other things playing into the clamp coming off. Won't be happening again tho that's for sure!

What I love about Australasian, Euro, UK, Japan drift comps is the variety in Engines / Vehicles . I know a big torque V8 makes it easier, and love the sound but when 80% of the drivers are equipped with one, it becomes a bit formulaic. Likewise when every other car is a Corvette or a 350/370Z. Love it all but variety is cool.
