The drummer is the Big Bang. The reason for the whole thing. Before him, nothing. And suddenly, out of nowhere, a beat. A beat so perfect that it has more in common with the fundamental mathematics inherent in any Universe governed by physics than it does with most music. So the drummer builds the Universe and the World, the guitarist paints the sky with riffs, and the bassist breathes Life into it, animates it. She ties it into the part of our brain that controls motion. If you can stay still while listening, something is probably distracting you.

About a week ago I randomly had this group pop up on my recommendations. I didn't give it alot of thought, you know? Algorithm just doing it's usual thing lol random stuff poppin up every so often. I finally clicked on one of their videos and I'm so glad I did! Great sound, laid back times a million, incredibly talented, funky.. Thanks UA-cam algorithm! And thanks to Khraungbin for the ear candy! Nice, chill, smooth, soulful, crispy, crunchy grooves!
This is technically the identical performance as the one they gave on KEXP Seattle, but the budget KEXP has on sound, cameras, etc. makes this one seem relatively dull.

I think he's got a loop pedal. But yeah he dominates. Nails that loop to perfection and then destroys the lead parts over top.
