One of the most complete midfielders of all time.
Yaya only one I've seen that's on his level for a complete midfielder.Tall quick dynamic great shot passion physical leader aggressive and great defensively also
one of the most complete interviews of all time, too.
@@reeseprince8 both incredible players but if we're alking about all time then you'd have to say vieira and toure are no way near it due to how many top top players have existed
Yep he is ...after Roy Keane of course
@@mrpotato442 😂😂
Vieira will always be remembered as one of best ever players for Arsenal. True legend.
Lies again? POV PUV
As soon as he was no longer there they went on the decline.
A true legend of the game! 👏
Absolute LEGEND !!
honour to have him at Palace.
17 years later & we still haven't replace him. Or maybe there's just no replacement. Footballing wise Diaby & Partey are similar but the mentality, aggression, leadership can't be found in modern football. Legend.
Players nowadays are a soft breed so of course there'll never be a like for like replacement.
Irreplaceable in my opinion. Growing up watching Arsenal from 1989-now I can say that whenever Big Pat, Bergkamp and Henry were on the pitch I knew we would win. He was the most complete midfielder we have ever had.
He’s a 1 off, can never be replaced!
Partey can be the closest thing to Patrick
Diaby was as close as we got, but players like Vieira are rare in football. The closest that came to his level in the Prem was Yaya.
Even as a United fan, I was excited to see this one. Never knew that Wenger told him to sign for Arsenal, while he was still managing in Japan. Makes his and Garde's signings make a lot more sense now.
True Legend 🔴⚪️
Invincible Captain 🔴⚪️
he left mate, not a "true" legend.
What a footballer man. Thing I love about him the most is his humility. Such a great, yet he comes across so humble and not big headed at all.
The interviewer's got a lot better recently. Less 'pick me through, pick me through', more relaxed and conversational questions. Good job AM
spends a lot of it interuppting the guests and answering their questions for them when they are speaking. Not trying to say he is bad just little things hold him back a bit
@@TheGooners619 I mean, he is probably running against the clock. He needs to get through all the shirts on the hangers 😂
@@TheGooners619 yeah I'd agree with that, he's not exactly Parkinson. He's just improving
@@mellow.marketer5677 oh no I fully understand that. I just always dislike interviews where the main focus is the interview structure or time schedule over the actual personality of the person being interviewed. Feels backwards
It's also clear that the players dont care that much about the shirts lol
Our ungrateful fans will never understand the importance of the sentence ‘Arsene called me to come to Arsenal’.
Vieira, Henry, Cazorla, Ozil and Sanchez all said the same thing. They came because Arsene asked them to, so nobody should ever disrespect Wenger under any circumstances!
I think arteta has that pull too but not on the same level
@@GennySavastone No he doesn’t 😂😂😂
@@_HA7i yes he does
@@GennySavastone mate hes literally a b tec Guardiola 🤣🤣
@@ketufo Arteta has pull when it comes to certain players. Saka, Smith Rowe, Martinelli, Ødegaard, Fabio Vieira etc trusts Arteta, they wouldn't be here otherwise. Ben White, Tomiyasu, Ramsdale. Jesus coming and there might be more. Arteta doesn't have pull?
Not many people can say they’re “much better” than Roy Keane but Pat can
He really can’t cos he wasn’t
And it’s true though 😂😂😂
@@jackendean5368 he was though
@@ipoulter9765 listen to vieira he said whoever won the battles out of him and Keane won the game. United won much
More of those games than arsenal. So by vieiras own logic Keane was better
@@jackendean5368 it’s called being modest fella, the games were not won between those two takes 20 more players in that game to change things
What a man.. Class all over
That man needs a statue outside the Emirates Stadium 🏟 because he deserves it 💯
Couldn’t agree more, Arsene, Patrick and Wrighty should all have statues outside the emirates
@@fusionz0722 forget Wrighty the flip flop piece of trash, he don’t deserve it
BIG No0o0ooo.viera should ask man city for his statue not arsenal.hes traitor jsut ljke van persie and fabregas.i rather choose auba than them.
@@otaksemput Vieira was finished by the time he went to Man City so how is he a traitor? The only true traitor is Van Persie
@@otaksemput gtfo Vieira gave all his best years at Arsenal. Best midfielder the club has ever had of one of the best captains. Auba was a clown and will be forgotten in a few years. Fabregas was a legend too, get over it
What a footballer, and what a manger. I think we all doubted Viera when he replaced Hodgson, but now we see how he's changed Crystal Palace this season, and honestly could see them in the top 10 next season.
With doucoure and no one is sold its got to be top 10
@@Ninja-gt3zi it'll be a tough ask when clubs like Leicester, Wolves, West Ham, Newcastle and Everton will look to fill the top half along with the "top 6" so I don't expect Palace in top 10 but hopefully a Cup final for them so we can see their incredible fans at Wembley.
One of the premier league greats and as a Man Utd fan it was a pleasure to watch him
One of the greats
The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be,” so glad I was alive to see our captain play!! What a player and a true gentleman
He ain't Bret Hart bro
What a player! Still remember the game at Hillsborough with him and Paolo. I still think he is underrated by people outside of Arsenal. One of the best to play in the Premier League
The Roy Keane Vs Patrick Vieira rivalry is without doubt the GREATEST in Premier League history!
MY HERO!!!
I just love how confidence Patrick Vieira says he is much better player than Kean.... Mr. Alex Ferguson can testify 😂
Legend
That’s where I went wrong…no Vicks 🤦🏻♂️
Same here. If I had used Vicks I would have been a local legend at least
Viera looks like he could rip the interviewer in half like a piece of paper
Vieira, woooahhhh! How we could do with a player like him in arsenal's current midfield
Well we do have a Vieira now I guess 😂
@@uthmanqureshi3941 its a pity he didn't get the #4 number, would have been fun haha!
I think every team wants a Vieira
Arsenal never replaced Patrick Vieira.
@@Liryc83 Keane, Lamps, Gerrard - have any of those been replaced? Cmon
Keane always forces the rivalry more then Vieira 🤣
Both men great captains/leaders but PV4 was also a baller.
@King Darwin nobody can argue with that!
What a legend. Can't wait to see him at the Emirates dugout.
He should be Arsenal manager now instead that terrible manager Arteta !
@@p-illasando1049 arteta is better
Vieira and Arteta are still fairly unproven, with both building something. Vieira has had 1 season. Arteta has finally built the team he wants and we’ll see how he does but I do think Vieira would have much more of a presence in the dressing room and would get more out of players. Would bring that mentality back to the club
@@thomaslittle4954 Exactly. This is what we've been lacking. I'm sick and tired of seeing week in week out a team with no backbone. Enough of "No Pressure FC".
He'll be there 18th March 2023...(COYP)
Arsenal have really had some incredibly beautiful kits l.
Barely any other team has had such a beautiful set of shirts for me. They don’t make too many horrible ones. Except the puma era between 2014/19 they were a bit dead then.
@@caseyfalconer7347 Nike arsenal tops are the best kits
@@FatTodd I prefer the Adidas ones from the early 90's myself.
@@johnmitchell2269 united sharp one was quite nice. I miss the old kits, they don’t hit the same anymore.
@@FatTodd Especially the ones with tacky gambling sponsorships.
The beast himself
This Interviewer is Very Very Good! Has clearly done his homework, ask Great questions and does not interrupt! Awesome!!
Pure respect for big Pat, from a Spurs fan.
Pat does have arsenal at heart man👏🏻
Great guy
Giant of player
Best midfielder to ever grace the league
When asked about which man utd shirt he enjoyed seeing while having a beef with kean and he chose a arsenal shirt bruh!!! Our captain our legend our vieira!!!!
I don’t think he understands the question tbf
Best midfield player I’ve seen at arsenal...fan since 1964.
Presence when he walks in the room
Great video - PV4 so full of emotion and stories for each shirt - a great interview
Legend. Pure class. So happy for him. He had a lot of doubting Thomases on his Palace appointment, but he proved that if given an opportunity, one can achieve. Representation matters.
Well said mate 👌🏾
@@T.london878 🤛🏽💚
Surely the future Arsenal manager
The Legend Patrick Viera. One of the Greatest Midfielders. 👍🏽
My Captain! COYG,🤜🏼
Joyeux anniversaire Patrick! HB
That 98 double shirt is also my favourite Arsenal shirt.
FASCINATING! Such a series of insights on his career and football. Surely the best of the series so far???
As a United fan I grew up hating Vieira and his Arsenal teammates, but I must admit he's a class act as a guy. Very genuine and humble. Wish him the best as a manager.
09:00 Banter went over his head. That cheeky smile
What a human being!
I'm a Blackburn fan I remember Gary Flitcroft who was no mug trying to clatter Vieira and he just bounced off Vieira was a monster in midfield top top quality
What a player big Patrick was. My days.
I Wished Patrick Had Signed For Us Noel Mate We Wood Have Premier League Had Patrick Signed For Us Liverpool,....
The one and only… mr pork sword, guy is packing a weapon according to Nicolas anelka
Best in his position in his prime the premier league has seen
Couldve gone pro but i left my vicks at home
Fun fact: The year Viera won his first Premier League in 98, Crystal Palace were relegated at last place.
Nothing fun about that fact at all
@@lukepatterson5367 lol bro chill
U can’t help but want him to do well at whatever club he’s at
Best one yet! Patrick had plenty to say that was worth listening to and didn't want to breeze through the whole thing in 10 mins.
When Patrick goes to the Emirates we can't disrespect him even though he is coaching Crystal Palace. He will always be loved and respected from the Arsenal.
Underrated Legend.
Patrick Vieira What A Legend & A Arsenal Captain Big Up
After 20+ years as Arsenal fan I finally know what that iconic blot on Vieira shirt means...
My legend
The Man The Legend The Boss, Vieira We The Fans Salute 🫡 U 🙏🏾
Him and the new young palace squad have one year of experience under his belt. Cant wait to see them next season with a few good signings. Love the fact he dominated arsenal last season twice without regrets
The life journey that he has been through is amazing
He doesn’t waste many words, everything he says is measured and exact. A very intelligent man, I hope he takes Palace to success.
I pray he manages Arsenal one day
An absolute legend, one of the greatest.
Best manager itl out of ex players
Love watching his crystal Palace team..Chelsea fan

👌👌Thank u for this video 👌👌👌both of u 💕
What a player, what a captain
Roy Keane was so brutal, rough, mad and sharp.. till Patrick Vieira appears on the pitch
What a player & that rivalry with Utd from 97-05 was just box office Liverpool City need a few more years yet to match it!
Viera put his hand in his pocket , and pulled out Keane 💥
😂
While Keane puts his hand in his trophy cabinet pulls out a champions league and more league titles
@@niallireland2940 This was a very foolish comment. Vieira didn’t only play in England. He also won Serie A titles with Inter Milan, AC Milan and played for Juve. Not to mention The World Cup, Euro Championship and Confederations Cup with France and got 106 caps for the National side. A far better collection of trophies than Keane who by the way didn’t even play in the CL final in 09 that Man U won. Keane had an excellent career, but Vieira was far more successful and has a far better trophy cabinet by a country mile
@@daniel7v14 so because Roy Keane played in Ireland made up of 4 million people your going to hold that against? Veira played in seria a so what ? Keane would have walked into any midfield in the world only why would he leave united ? Why did Keane beat him over and over when there were in the same league ? Why when united signed Veron one of the best midfielders in seria he couldn’t get a sniff ? Come on get real
A CAM and CDM in one player
Basically a cheat code
Pure class on and of the pitch could listen to him talk all day hope he gets to manage the Gunners one day⚽️🤩
My all time soccer idol, only him
Great man Great player
I was an on the fence supporter until the late 90s...the rivalry vs United and the Keane vs Vieira moments turned me into a football fanatic
Vieira ohhhhh Vieira ohhhhhhhh
That arsenal and French shirt is 🔥 mind
Those older kits are looking like 🔥🔥🔥
Definitely
Big up Vieira 🔴⚪
Vieira is class and the hosts energy is on point
Loved watching this. Superb. So glad to have two of the big man's match worn shirts
I wish I was born earlier to be able to watch all those classic games we had vs Assna when Keano n Vieira were going at it😭😭😭😭fair play to Vieira tho he had a very good season with Palace after everyone including myself was writing him off before the season even started he’s doing his ting man👏🏾👏🏾
OI THE HENERAL!!
Salute.
He was a joy to watch play for Arsenal. I will always be a fan.
Great player. Arsenal always talking about winning the title at old Trafford but not about the title being lifted at old Trafford 3 times in a row at one point during the rivalry. They didn’t even manage back to back.
Why skipping his Juventus and Inter part, calciopoli and why he left is an very important question.
absolute class.
Kept it classy throughout. Proper Papa Wengz vibes ❤️
hope he manages arsenal soon
